Based on the elevator section in Brown Block Basement (VLDC9), which got mixed reception. This is a particularly bad application of the elevator gimmick though, since you have to prepare everything and fall back down perfectly to win. It's called "A" because there are big "A"s in the level, which indicate spinjumping. They were also present in BBB.
The expressionless face in the message box is an emote on the jumphalf server called :goodjob:. Originally, it was an injoke between me and the level's author when we were working on JUMP1/2's overworld. We communicated using the castle messages in Lunar Magic, and we used that face to mock eachother (it's made out of layer 3 smasher tiles).

I like how you insisted in room 3 in the first hub despite it taking so long. The first room 1 is much faster and easier (if you don't mind feeling sad :( )

Make sure to restart the game instead of loading a savestate.
The name is based on a common misspelling of Bowser.
This level is was a competition to see who could make the most bowser rooms in a hour. We all got together for a 1 hour room making jam and afterwards, we compiled all the rooms that were made into one giant castle. ft029 won the competition with a whopping 10 rooms. An interesting note is that lolyoshi wasn't sober when he made his rooms.
I added a baseball chuck and buoyancy in the bowser fight to make it somewhat harder, but it's still pretty easy compared to the castle itself (especially if you're smart and kill the chuck). The unterwater music is playing in the first part because the arena is surrounded by water.
Commentary on the hubs:
intro room - Made by idol. I was gonna fix the typo in the message box but Enjl urged me to keep it in. hub 1 - By GlitchMr. This room is designed for fast room access by having Mario constantly be at 63 speed which makes reaching any room fast. The numbers are the first five digits of pi. hub 2 - By me. Dedicated to the winner of the competition. All of the rooms in this hub were made by ft029. hub 3 - Also by me. Used to be a layer 2 sinking hub but for some reason it would kill Mario as soon as he entered it. hub 4 - By ft029. It's a pachinko machine. hub 5 - Also by ft029. The 50 is a VIP reference. hub 6 - By Pyro. Apparently round line guides still work just fine in the castle tileset. hub 7 - Also by Pyro. An attempt at making an obnoxious hub. hub 8 - By lolyoshi. That noteblock death that raocow experienced is very common and has killed many runs.
The Credits, Explained
Made by GlitchMr, Pyro, ft, and Enjl, and then toned down by me because it was way too silly. Here are all the references:
"This ending is an illusion etc." - Ghosts 'n Goblins "idol, or possibly Pyro" - Pyro kept insisting that YUMP was her fault but it was actually idol's. "anonymousbl00dlust" - He didn't actually make a level, we just put that there to scare the player. "god, ogogod etc." - This message, ad verbatim. "757, 6646, 55535 etc." - There is porter on SMWC who used to be called 757 and is now known as 6646. We made a pattern out of this (xyx, every time x and y are decreased by 1 and another x is added at the start) and continued it until y=-3. "everyone who didn't put their name in the fucking txt" - We couldn't identify a lot of the porters so I just a put a rude message.
"aterraformer - 125" - JUMP has 125 exits. "xfix - 1337" - GlitchMr/xfix's YouTube channel icon and description. "Wakana - 100 HORIZONTAL" - Gambly NIght (VLDC9). "FrozenQuills - 5" - FQ's tendency to rank 5th in contests. "ft029 - 92037" - ft's JUMP 125/69 speedrun in 9h 20m 37s. "Lazy - 88" - My VLDC9 entry came 88th. "Anonymous - 1F8" - anonymousbl00dlust's JUMP level. "Sleeping Snail - 3" - How long do snails sleep? "PASSMEM - 1492" - Swiss Hotel (VLDC9).
"Enjil" - Common misspelling of Enjl. "Falconpunch" - Was quoted in the intro.
The credits ending early was an accident but we kept it in because it just fits. Super Maks's image shows the part of the credits that you can only see in Lunar Magic.

Dev commentary extended - leftmost: the music room (rRrRrR rRrRrRrR!!!)
The rooms screenshot doesn't contain this level. There is a reason for that. Unlike other rooms, it technically wasn't part of a room competition, but rather a YUMP level removed late in YUMP development, after Browser's Castle rooms were finished. I specifically requested that if this level would be to be removed, it would be moved to Browser's Castle just to have more rooms in it.
So, what it is? Well, a troll level I submitted for VLDC6, called rRrRrR rRrRrRrR!!!. Although not necessarily meant to be a troll level, more like an experiment in making a challenging single screen level (similar to GAY SHT in YUMP) that I was going to replace with actual level once I would finish it... and never did.
This level was replaced by A, which I believe was one of the last levels submitted to YUMP.

dunno if anybody mentioned, but beating browser's castle counts as 17 exits, so theres not actually 120 exits in the hack even though it will say 120 at the end
