Casino of Roulettes
A level about figuring out which powerup from the roulette to use. The way the blue koopa jump works is that during the shrinking animation, the game is paused via $9D, which is different from a normal pause in that koopas keep falling during it for some reason.
only one more level that makes you do shelljumps left. that doesn't mean the other levels are gonna be any easier tho 👀

That blue koopa jump at the end of the cape segment was a really clever idea. Nicely done.

Aww, I was hoping it would become a recurring gag at the end of each level, going forward.

raocow would get very good at them by the end of this hack!

I believe Linkdeadx2 (experienced Kaizo player) used savestates in hell's construction site. So... uh, good luck?

I'm pretty sure you will be fine however, you did Casino faster than him after all.

Swiss Swish Switch
This is the first level M/M made for YUMP. This is the story of how he became a part of the project:

Morsel never expected that raocow would play YUMP so of course he made levels he knew raocow wouldn't enjoy. And this was literally true. There has been much discussion of how every one had his own idea of what a youtube level should be; Morsel, not being a part of the discord, must surely exemplify this individualistic approach. After selling his hotel, he was enjoying a peaceful retirement free from the slings and arrow of outrageous twitch streamers when he was visited by me, the Projekt Koordinator Lazy. I wanted him for one final 'job'. The burden of my song was that the gang were making a terrible hack and they needed him to put the cream on the turd.

In fact, this is what I said:
So the JUMP1/2 crew is doing this little b-side collab where the goal is to make youtube-style levels. [...]
The collab started out as a compilation of intentionally crappy youtube levels, but over time the focus shifted towards making high-quality low-effort levels. These levels are almost purely vanilla and usually made in under 30 minutes to ensure they're of the finest janky quality. There are some kaizo light levels in the compilation, but the hack is ultimately supposed to be beatable without savestates.
Naturally, after hearing this, he tried to think of what a youtube level was to him, and he realised that the first time that the term had entered his consciousness was when raocow used it at the end of this video (and raocow's bad reaction to this level explains his preliminary remark here). He thought of the same sort of thing a year later; he thought of protonjon playing kaizo mario; he thought of similar japanese, nicovideo hacks, e.g. skill-up mario and OTL (and comparable vip levels); he even thought of cynderfire's jump levels. And this was the sort of level he tried to make.

About this particular level: this strange level name was chosen because it was fashionable at one time to use tongue twisters as titles.
The coin tunnel used to be one tile higher. It was moved down because everyone thought you just had to do a very precise shell jump - in actuality, you're supposed to do this.
ldad only used savestates in hell's construction site because of a trap that's no longer in the level so rao should be fine-ish

Is it safe to say that after beating this level legit, you are no longer allowed to claim "I'm bad at shell jumping"?

No because even after doing a correct shell jump, you may still be bad at it.

hell's construction site
The story in this level is that Yoshi is scared by a construction worker and accidentally falls off the building. I chose this music because Des Fois, J'ai Peur of Something Unseen.

The color change in the trap room is caused by an Activate Bowser Scene sprite. Originally, I was going to use this sprite in the main level too because it spawns in a bunch of parallaxing hammers (glitched castle roof tiles) which would've tied in with the construction site theme. I decided to just use it for the trap room instead.

Well, that was an interesting level and/or minefield.

Yet another example of YUMP using obscure glitches and quirks to make something unique.

That video seems to have been played post-special world so the green shells were made yellow. Kinda defeats the purpose cause you by definition won't have special world complete when you're doing this level for the first time.

I was thinking this exact thing. All I can think seeing Hell's Construction Site is how much of a confusing nightmare it must be to play, and raocow just casually works his way through it having a good time because he knows exactly what is going on.

In general, these postgame levels have been fun to watch so far. The challenges have been interesting in terms of the thought process of how to approach them as well as seeing the full execution, and it's good they've kept raocow engaged enough that there hasn't been much angrycow even with this level of difficulty. And it's definitely impressive how good raocow has gotten at this game.
