alright doctor tom, how far are you in terms of proportion in this video game? I ask this because i'll be playing YUMP eventually and so we'll be recreating what happened during JUMP.
(note: no I haven't watched these, and I haven't read the thread)

At this point I've beaten 42 levels, but I don't know the exact number in the game. I'm still only able to record on the weekends these days (when I'm not also travelling for work), so yeah, I'm looking forward to you overtaking me and me beating the game a year after you do. Again

Also looking forward to people claiming that I copied you by playing YUMP at the same time to get views, even though I started first, as with happened with JUMP :P

Choco Spike House
I admit that I was inspired by a segment in the second half of The Depraved Stronghold: https://youtu.be/NyZDUc6XA4M?t=8m1s (and the top route of the next segment, which raocow did not take). The palettes used to be clean and boring, but Lazy made them more janky. The level was also originally more difficult, but I toned it down to the point where I thought people could attempt to do it first try. And QubicTom almost did.

These levels speak for themselves. In a bad way :D
Ep19 - Let's Fast Forward Half The Video

I don't have any video ready for tomorrow, so the next episode might not be until Saturday! Blame a certain switch palace that has been taking way too long to do.

I'm sure playing that second level at normal speed feels like listening to that song.

The Mushroom House on the Hill
inspired by these two levels:
https://youtu.be/TY1u-8jUylc
https://youtu.be/0jQYU7P1eZs

I felt that this hack needed a SCW reference so I went ahead and made one. this level was updated several times due to it being utterly broken. the version tom played is the latest one, but it can still be broken very easily by simply going in the red berry hole without yoshi, activating one of the note blocks, eating the berry, and exiting. I won't fix that because it's too late and it would just overcomplicate things.
you can also do this if you want to.

also, if you go over the ceiling and go left for a very long time, you'll eventually get to a dead end with  pixelart

I knew Nathan would break it! I tried that first half break a few times but edited it out, never really worked for me. It was a good puzzle level! (the idea of having one try to do a few parts put me off at first, but they weren't too bad to do in the end)

Here's the level in question for those who haven't seen it.

The Mushroom House on the Hill was the first level where I just used tools after the final mushroom fell into the water for the 3rd time at the end. I wish the level had a reset door or something but considering the nature of the hack yeah...Nice job doing the entire level the intended way. I wasn't aware of all the breaks you can exploit in the level too.

I think I've seen three people play the Rachmaninov level and none of them knew who he was (or even how to say his name). That is disappointing. The last great composer-pianist. The most glorious discography in the catalogue. International reknown and a prelude on every piano. A man Hofmann* said 'was made of steel and gold; steel in his arms, gold in his heart. I can never think of this majestic being without tears in my eyes..'. And then, in the end, oblivion.

*This great pianist at least lives on on the windscreen of everyone's car.

I am sorry about that, but I'm not very cultured I'm afraid!

I wonder if the level name is just written in the wrong coloured ink?

Dude you have a PhD: You are one of the leaders of society. It is (or should be!) your duty to carry the torch of culture against the sea of barbarism and try to ensure it doesn't get wet :( . Now my last hope is raocow -- I am one hundred per cent. sure he has seen the movie Groundhog Day so he should know who Rachmaninoff is from that.

About lawnmowers: Apparently the Edwardian lawnmower sounded very mellow and pleasant. I once read a book where someone was nostalgic for the old engines, but I can't remember what it was. I do recall
From distant lawns came the whir of a mowing-machine, that most restful of all country sounds; making ease the sweeter in that it is taken while others are working.

I have seen that movie a few times and never picked up on that name. I know, I'm the worst D:

Speaking of the worst, this episode didn't turn out too great. Totally my fault. I need to be a better LPer dude guy!
Ep22 - How did I lose 80 lives?

Upcoming work travel: South Korea, then Vietnam, then Japan, totalling two weeks out of the country. A few days after returning I'm in the USA for a week. I have one more YUMP video to upload (and I didn't even get to finish the second level in the video...), so I'm not sure how this LP will continue between now and the start of September. I'll bring my recording stuff with me but I can't promise anything :(

Edit: I never made any proper dev commentary for 5 Podoboo Jumps in a Row:

True. Used to rarely miss an aterraformer stream, and they'd start at 3am.

Oh hey, it's my awful level!
Ep23 - One Red Herring

Welp, not sure when the next video will be. Didn't finish Fast Water, ran out of recording time, that's why it's cut out of this video. I will try to record while abroad, but can't promise anything! Worst case, next episode will be in two weeks...! But raocow's playthrough is 1000x better anyways, so go watch that :D

So I'm 60 levels in, guess I'm regulated to waiting for tom to catch up to beat literally any puzzle level

I'm to the yellow yoshi in the stupid steed level it feels like I'm trapped there (and missing something obvious)
