Yeah, I think if I was playing this game myself, I'd be more interested in seeing what the next mindspace is going to be like than exploring the camp, especially after I've already seen most of the camp.

In short we don't exactly know, but basically we know that the evil brain-removing dentist and/or Coach Morceau Oleander are using the as a place to steal psychic children's brains and build an army of Psychic Tanks. The asylum gate is closed. The guy outside the gate seems to be a security guard, but he also appears to be a paranoid schizophrenic, so Raz is going into his mind to discover what "the milkman" he's obsessed with is, and how he can get him to open the damn gate.

The gate guard's name is Boyd, and if you talk to him a bunch, he mentions "The Milkman" a lot in his ramblings, and I think he mentions that the Milkman is the one who opens the gate.
Well, this episode did not disappoint! raocow sets a Girl Scout on fire and laughs hysterically! Breaks into people's houses and steals all their things! Impersonates totally legitimate Road Crew workers!
Fun fact: the G-Men are voiced by Steve Blum. He's in, like... everything. Tons of video games and anime dubs.

I also love the way raocow's first thought upon seeing a Rainbow Squirt was to set her on fire. He thinks like I do!

Try setting the "totally not secret agents what are you talking about" on fire, as well. Their reaction is similarly amusing.

Please use Clairvoyance on everything you can.
At the very least use it on any major character you see, like the people whose minds you go into.

raocow seems to be on the level of 2D adventure games, where you have to investigate every pixel of a world to try and find where the stick of butter can help grease the rusty door, or other similar types of nonsensical logic paths, but Psychonauts isn't really on that level of obtuseness. Anything that can be interacted with, Raz will usually make a comment about and/or it will be highlighted slightly.
I will say that this world
and one or two of the next worlds
is very much about wandering around and solving logic puzzles with an array of objects collected from the level and they won't fully make sense until you have most of the items you need, so that doesn't help much.

It only took 1.5 videos for raocow to figure out how the G-Men work. Progress!
I will say though, that if there is one thing tricky about the Milkman Conspiracy level, it's that there's very little indication of where you need to go or in what order you need to do things. You pretty much just have to explore everywhere. And since all the houses look the same, it can be easy to get turned around.

raocow's lack of navigational abilities and 2D game habits are unsurprisingly not a good mix when paired with a twisty level full of small optional explorable areas.
Oh well, he'll get there eventually.

I don't think it's *that* odd that it took raocow a while to figure out how the G-Men work. I mean, he didn't actually come across the "hedge trimmers" and the "waterers" until *after* he'd found the hedge clippers and watering can, and before that, he'd only seen the "road crew". It's a simple "puzzle", yeah, but if you miss a step, it can be confusing.
I spent my share wandering aimlessly about this stage, myself, so I can't be too hard on him here.
