I like the idea of that Bowser boss, a nice nod to SMB but with a difference.

Now the next level shall be the karmic backlash for this short and tension-lacking video of only 5 minutes.
So this is a joke, right?
What exactly is a joke ?
Even raocow admitted it's not a good video.
He conserved 2 hours of tootage in 5 minutes. And those 5 minutes include chipmunking while there is barely any commentary anyways.
If you seriously think it was a good video im not gonna argue with you.
Of course i wasn't serious about the karmic backlash if you mean that
I meant that future levels will deal with a much greater amount of frustration. Bowsers castle wasn't all that hard. It just didn't gave you much place for errors.
But the difficulty itself was pretty basic.
And that's why raocow could pull it off without losing many lives near the end. He perfected his game for this part.
Future levels will be much more painful though. So it's kind of funny to see how everyone is complaining about this segment now.
Or at least that is how i experienced some of the special world levels ! It's not gonna be a tame sort of difficulty like here.
May be wrong though. raocow did a really good job on "Cloud Tunnel", showing more understanding of the engine and creativity than i have. So maybe there will be trickery of some sort like back then ;)

"This is raocow !"
... i suddenly realized that raocow has lost his old classic line "...see you again, probably tommorow !"
I wonder when that happened.
Furter investigation is neccesary.

I said that a few times in his channel comments and videos awhile back and he actually started saying it again, not mentioning me in his videos though.
I think perhaps I reminded him and he just subconsciously remembered to say the line again.
Basically, I'm saying just spam him. It'll work, trust me.

Usually the chances of him saying the complete, "See you next time blah blah blah" line are inversely related to how exhausted he is by the end of the recording. So, if he's not tired, he'll end up saying it, and if he is tired, he won't. Seeing how it's the endgame, one of those outcomes is more likely to occur than the other.

Yaaaa .... that makes sense. I'm usually not as concentrated as well at the end of a video. That's why i didn't really noted the difference until now.
Basically, I'm saying just spam him. It'll work, trust me.
Naaaa ....
It's not like he has to do that anyways.

A boss rush after a level like that. Well, eh. I liked the level overall.

Vanilla A3A Bowser.
That was kind of anti-climatic... Not that I would complain after having to deal with this level and 3 bosses, however.

...so one day I commented to raocow, "I sure hope the author used something other than vanilla Bowser for the boss." Oi... was definitely not expecting the additional stage after Castle Bowser and THAT having Super Mario World Bowser... Pesky Bowser, you need a shiny new boss fight people can use instead.
That said, I can only imagine the "NOOOOOOooooo..." had raocow managed to die to Bowser in some way...

I dunno, I thought it was kind of obvious that the author just used a bunch of downloaded sprites so I'm not really surprised at this at all. I guess that the author just wanted to use the end sequence or something.

I... Think that was the best custom-boss-fighting raocow has ever done. Until the A3Awser. Boy, YCZ has to be pretty proud of himself for making that Thwomp Boss!
Really, though, with how the koopalings were unmodified, it was kinda telegraphed that "Unmodified" Bowser would appear.
So, what's the theme of the Special World? I'm guessing wind!

Spoilers. IIRC there is no wind in the special world. I wish there was wind. The wind was much kinder than what lies ahead (maybe an exaggeration, I doubt it).

Have we played the same game ?
Oh i see what you did there !

It's like "What happened" ?
Someone remember the time when raocow sucked so hard that he had problems on even the easiest custom bosses ? Still remember his first thwomp boss, like it was yesterday.
They grew up so fast.

Adding a spoiler tag after that doesn't really help, since the context is obvious.

Who is the "best" player... everyone's talking about raocow being really good, (I think he is too...) but is he "the best?"
[Side note]
I was watching old videos and I came across this... (VVVVVV)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGUmtlBGWpg
Does anyone else hear a little "through the fire and the flames" during the hyper chipmunking? I start to hear it around 8:50... I know it's random, but, so.

I like that variant more than I like the red ones. Shame it's pretty much a guaranteed demise if two fire off while you're in the water though.

Yes it's a win because you beat the level with the options given to you within the level.
it's only a bit disappointing since you already got to the pipe without it. The jumping on the final bullet should be possible too. So you are able to do it without flying
No, I'm not saying redo it just for me (although I wouldn't stop you from doing it).
This win is just as legitimate as any other simply because you are allowed to do it. Heck, you should maybe try it more often when you're still struggling after 45 minutes.
