Delivery time has nothing to do with how picky you are. I actually ordered my new pc Saturday and it should be done in a week. However, all the research, comparing products, checking benchmarks and waiting for the new graphic cards easily took a month. But then again that is a custom build pc so there are more options.
i think he meant getting used to the new computer. you know configuring the settings and such.

The translation is complete! Lunar Magic is awesome and makes things a breeze so thanks everyone who offered advice and taught me how to unlock the rom.
This is from World 5 onwards. The rest is in this thread somewhere, but I imagine anyone playing this hack in the future will just use raocow's videos for the translation so I'm not going to bother trying to consolidate everything.

... so this was the easy part of the level !
I think the elevel would be fine IF the wind-gimmick would come with an "off" - "on" switch every now and then.

I asked in the comments, but I'll ask it here, too. What do you think about just recording the level without commentary and then just adding in the commentary in after the vid's over? I mean, I think this is the third or fourth stage now where you've lost 30+ lives, and you seem to be a lot like me where you just lose focus after you've failed a good, but not good enough run.
Not going to bother with the other suggestion to make things easier since that's not you, but the commentary one is one I think worth looking into.

*/me smacks you around with a quite gigantic trout* That he does live commentary is one of the reason he's so awesome, occasional ppr is fine as it can really save some videos, but it's NOT something that should be in all videos.
Edit: Only stating my own opinion etc etc blabla in the end it's up to him.

raocow, if you're using the watered down Windows 7 version of Movie Maker (Live Movie Maker?) you should try to switch to one of the older versions. That version was definitely not something I enjoyed using.
If you google it, I'm pretty sure you can find a way to get older versions of Movie Maker on Windows 7. It took me a while to find a way to do so, but I did find one and am running Movie Maker 6.0 on Windows 7 with all its features intact. Or I could just upload the install file I found somewhere if you want it.
Just a thought! I was really bothered by the missing features in Windows 7 Movie Maker.

@file size of videos being too big issue
I ran most of my videos through FormatFactory before uploading them. While it wasn't my intention, it did have the effect of making the video files smaller.
For instance it changed one of my videos from 46.8 MB to 22.6 MB
All I do is select convert it to AVI (even though the my video's are AVI to start with) and make sure the audio is mp3 and on one audio channel only, the video encoding is MPEG4 and the dimensions of the video are 640x480.

Wow, 4 hours of nothing. That's dedication. Or insanity.
Those 'Computer Logs' you had for the last two videos reminded me of [AOD]'s science reports.
I miss then.

Hey, raocow! I realized that not that you're a Windows 7 user, you have that crappy Windows Live Movie Maker, which REALLY, REALLY, REALLY sucks. I've tried using it before, and it has a LOT of the best features taken away, and I couldn't even find an undo button. So, I was wondering, can you download old copies of WMM on your computer? Cause if you can, I'd HIGHLY recommend you do, just for your simplicity, and for your video quality. Just a recommendation...wow...I used a lot of capitalization for emphasis there...oh well...

Windows ME? Wow, I just gained even more respect for raocow for using that all this time..
That said though, I hope he remembers his zSnes settings and such, I miss the widescreen, and the quality wasn't as sharp on today's video either.

Most definitely download the old windows movie maker. A quick google should let you find it.
In other news that wind level is so brutal. I played it with savestates, and I don't even know how you'll play the second half, but I guess I'll see tomorrow.

also this level seems kind of mean
just going out on a ledge here, saying wind sucks

If you're feeling adventurous, you can try using Virtualdub. It's super-powerful but it does so much it's a bit overwhelming. It's also completely free. I'm starting to get used to using it but only in basic features currently. I'm sure it can do everything you used to do in WMM though. Prefers dealing with AVIs.
If not, just get an old version of WMM. I have 2.6 installed on here and I'm running 7 also. It works but I felt like i needed something better
