I don't know how you guys are getting confused about which is "live" and which is "post"

Is there an official retsupurae of raocow? Cause I want to find it.

So, uh, I'm an elephant, too? Errrrouuuuggghhh!
Oh... oh... I didn't know that was actually happening... hmm.

I might have a look at that to try it out, but I don't anticipate me using it because that is not the only issue I have with WLMM. A big draw for me using the one that came with Vista is that I got an encoder to allow me to use non-standard screen resolutions and such for publishing videos - that's another thing I didn't see anywhere in WLMM. Not that I expected it to be there, since I had to do a workaround to actually get it in the old WMM, but still, it's an issue for me.

That wouldn't concern raocow though, so if the speed-changing thing from this beta works then awesome :D

EDIT: Hang on a sec, my laptop did actually get Live 2011 at some point recently... and that does have the speed up and such... and it looks like it has custom settings for output resolution etc. too. When did that happen!? Argh nevermind lol. Looks like I might well be editing in this then if it works as expected.

Now, now. a retsupurae of raocow? raocow is a good LPer - I don't see why that would happen. I doubt that retsupurae does affectionate MST3K-style.

Although it could be very funny...

But I think that the point of retsupurae is to stop people from doing LP's if they simply are not qualified - materially or otherwise - to do so.

Your reaction to the wind was great. Sucks that I never submitted that wind gimmick room for KC's castle in ASMT though...at least someone used a similar idea in this game!

Deceased Crab wanted them to do it [/off topic]

I like the gimmicks in this hack. They seem interesting without overstaying their welcome.

Just because you like something doesn't mean it's good. Also I'm pretty sure he stopped posting on SA and moved to youtube to be - for a lack of a better word - shittier.

The Windows Live Wave 4 update.

The problem I'm finding with it now is that it seems to completely cut out the audio from the video when it isn't playing at normal speed. So it can do speed changes, but it still can't do them like it should do, which is kinda annoying <_<

So wait, there's not a single free movie editing program in existence?

There is, but it's garbage.

I mean, you'd think that there'd be one under the GNU licence or something because movie editing isn't that esoteric.

There are, but they're for Linux. I don't know how good they are though.

Likewise, it's a great shock to my mental image. This demands pictures on raocow so we can kill all other presumptions we've made about his appearance!
TheFlippedSides wrote:A thought just dawned on me.
If raocow will be buying a Windows 7 PC, he should look into investing in the Professional or Ultimate editions, because they come with an Windows XP emulator of sorts. Some games may not be compatible because of the 64-bit resolution 7 has, so the "Virtual XP" can assist with that.
I probably just over-complicated everything, so I'll just say hope this goes well for you, raocow.
The professional should be gotten minimum anyways really. 64-bit is 95% compatible with 32-bit programs (and for the 5% that isn't there's always 64-bit specific versions) so there's no issues there either. On the contrary Virtual XP can only very barely be used for a very small amount of games.
Patashu wrote:So wait, there's not a single free movie editing program in existence?
Everything is free on the internet.

So does this mean that you recorded something for tomorrow, or are you still busy getting everything set up the way you like it?

I know it takes me about a week to get a new computer/Windows install all broken in, but I'm a lot pickier than most people.

Delivery time has nothing to do with how picky you are. I actually ordered my new pc Saturday and it should be done in a week. However, all the research, comparing products, checking benchmarks and waiting for the new graphic cards easily took a month. But then again that is a custom build pc so there are more options.
