OH BTW raocow ONE THING: If you find a secret teleporter anywhere, don't go in it until you beat all 8 robot masters. I'll leave it at that.

Will add dev commentary stuff if I can think of stuff later.

Edit: Beekeeper Joes have a really dumb origin. Basically a lot of the enemies for this game were added by looking at sprite sheets and thinking HMM WHAT COULD I ADD. So I slapped a MM6 block on a joe, and when writing the code for the bullet shooting and setting its sprite I was like "yknow what? I'm gonna make the bullet sprite a bee" and that's how beekeeper joe was born.

Also each stage has 2 books.

Megaman is getting very powerful with all this stuff he keeps finding. Also that level was very cool. Had nice progression.

Going by the sounds during the weapon demonstration - which raocow may have missed while talking - is the Yahoo Barrage's quintuple shot used by charging it? Is that also how the hard knuckle weapon can go into spinny fist mode?

Angry Sun's stage is supposed to just be an amalgamation of a bunch of fire stages from mega man but it just ended up being a 'there' stage instead. Personally I like how the boss turned out, there's a lot of stuff on screen but if you have a fast enough reaction time you can dodge everything pretty easily.

there is an error message but like it doesn't appear on the footage, the footage just stops. I don't remember what the error messages say because it said a lot of stuff

i really like the bosses in this game. they're kinda spammy but they look really cool and interesting even if they use like 1 or 2 sprites

I've always experienced this error by letting the final set of fans push Mega Man far enough ahead that they get scrolled offscreen, and then dying at any point without beating the boss first. I've been able to avoid this error by 1) not dying, or 2) moving ahead completely under my own power when the fans are leaving the screen. It's very consistent. I got the feeling that the game never realizes Mega's stopped being influenced by the fan when this happens, and I used to suspect the game was just searching for a fan that wasn't there, but maybe it has more to do with dying under a fan's influence instead.

sorry for not reporting it earlier, I guess I just figured the game wasn't going to get any more updates! whoops

(Also, Eddie's moonwalk remains one of my favorite things about this game to this day.)

Well since we're reporting crashes I have a couple.

On the

second Milk level I made it to the second boss

, I entered the boss door, dropped down to the floor, the music played, the boss' health went to up 100%, and then nothing. The fight never started and I couldn't pause the game to quit. I had to close the game and fight my way back there. The fight went fine the second time.

On the third Dr. Wily Stage during the

Spongebob and Patrick fight

, I beat the boss, Mega Man teleported out, and the screen went black. I thought that the game had crashed, but it was just the display. Using my amazing memory I pressed down, saved the game, and then closed the game. Fortunately I didn't lose any progress.

On the

hidden level where you fight the 8 robot masters again there's a section where you reverse gravity and you're walking on the ceiling. There's an item at the top of the screen (below your feet) that you can't reach. I walked to the left and fell off the top of the screen trying to get the item.

I couldn't jump back, so I walked around for a while. The music freaked out and the game crashed with an error code. I wish I had taken a screenshot, but I don't remember the code.

Also, another crash in the second Milk level. You get to this screen early on.

Since I had those fancy spike boots I thought that there might be something hidden to the left. I jump on the spikes, walk through the screen's left border, Mega Man begins to transition to another screen, and the game freezes, No error code. I guess there's nothing over there.

Oh, and I just experienced another crash. And this one happened at the end of a very long level.

I'm on the fight with Dr. Wily. I defeat his first form at the same time that he kills me. The game then crashes with this error.

btw pyro, if you want to make an animated tileset for those lava tiles, you can make a separate copy of the tileset for each frame and then do something like this:
