On Super Hard mode, you also need to win the Domino Race before the CD one for a treasure piece (the one with all the water to swim through).
So that's one required race for Normal and Hard mode and two for Super Hard mode. Guess like the rest of the game, the 'optional' stuff gets less optional as you increase the difficulty.

Although I love this level's gimmick, it always bothered me that the post-switch portion seems a bit lazy compared to the levels before it. Doodle Woods had an entirely new section with a clever gimmick (the pencils), and the Big Board had the "goal" room, but all Domino Row has is that little bit in the end pit with Keyser. It doesn't even utilize the dominoes either.
Still a cool concept though.

I guess you could say post-fold section is the 'ultimate race', compared to the smaller domino ones, but you're right. Succeeding in some of those races do provide shortcuts for later, like in the water and rolling rooms. Though for lazy post-fold sections, there is one that is even worse coming up.

Should have used one of the items to cut off some health points before starting :\

Oh my god you were so close to figuring it out at some point. The bear only goes up when you physically bump it. If you manage to only hit the mouse it won't go up, so it's completely possible to kill the boss in one single cycle with the right timing.
The game sort of tells you that you're the one bumping it back up early in the fight, but not good enough I guess?
RIP 100%.

That would've required grinding out the minigames for medals, and then choosing a good item. The cheap items only take 1-4 hits off in order, and even the blast cannon (2 damage) costs 3 medals, which isn't easy for the impatient LPer. The "wrong" super items take off 7-9 hits but cost 15 medals on hard, and the Big Lips (Aerodent's weakness) does a staggering 14, leaving it with just two hits at the start of the fight.
He probably could've afforded to spend the time getting one more medal and buying the Blast Cannon for 2 damage. That would've helped a little.

Really, you can one-cycle it? Most hits I ever got in was 4.

People mentioned something about items too. I wonder what they do. Not sure how they can be tested though without wasting them, if they are one use only.

I feel like he would've just panicked, messed up horribly, ended up wasting the item and exploding out of rage.

Yeah.
I used to have the timing on muscle memory a long time ago, but I can't even put a number on how many times I played this game. You also only have 2 minutes on Super hard, so you can only afford very few mistakes/cycles and need to get that timing down as much as possible.

You're almost certainly not wrong.

Well, at least this is the most annoying boss in the game over with. Sucks he didn't get 100% of the Treasure Chests, but hey, what can you do?
Catbat is much easier and a whole lot less annoying to fight

As for me, Catbat has the same annoying hitbox as the stupid piranha plant and i wouldn't call that "less annoying"

I think pholtos showcased at least one item in his LP?

I think at this point, just watch pholtos's LP if you wanna see 100%, unless you're talking about raocow seeing the 100% end.

Aww, I was really hoping raocow would 100% the game. Was hoping to see his reaction upon unlocking Super Hard. :(
Oh well. Aerodent is literally THE WORST THING. Designed solely to waste time, and it does so ANNOYINGLY WELL. That stupid mouse has a tiny hitbox, and bumping into the teddy bear makes it go up, resetting the cycle! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

You don't need 100% to unlock Super Hard.
You need good accuracy to smash the mouse and not bump the teddy bear. Fortunately, you are allowed to refight the bosses, but only after the Final Boss is beaten.
Boss Items
These items allow you to damage the boss before the fight even begins. The first 4 items do successively more damage, with a little variance depending on the boss. The next 4 items do a lot more damage, but how much each one does varies the most from boss to boss. In Megaman fashion, each boss is weak to one specific item on the 2nd row, dealing massive damage.
You need Medals to buy items, and you earn Medals by playing minigames. The best minigame to earn medals in is the face-matching one.

For those curious, here is the boss weakness chart:
Percy's less evil cousin, boss of the intro dungeons, is weak to the saxaphone. I don't know why.
Weird plant is weak to the dragon. Plants and fire, yaknow?
Vulture Clock is weak to the big fist. Some sort of "Punch the clock" pun?
Aerodent is weak to the big lips. Again, I don't know why. Maybe their lips are already tired from inflating their friend so they are not ready for makeouts?
I'll be spoiling the bosses raocow hasn't encountered yet.

Spoiled Rotten isn't 'weak' to any items. The saxophone is simply the strongest one available at the time.
For Aerodent, hmm. Well, this is toy land, which would appeal to kids. And what kid want to get kissed by their big Aunt Gertrude?
That's all I got.

having not beat the final boss yet, I can't vouch for accuracy but I heard that after beating the final boss, you are then allowed to re-challenge the other bosses again in order to get 100%

Randomly, when I played this game as a kid I could've sworn the professor was some sort of vain goblin creature woman, with the beard and glasses being her face and the head being her hair. Also, the animation where he's looking through a magnifying glass? Always thought it was a hand mirror.
Honestly, I still can't help but to see that.

Apparently, it's because in Japanese, it makes some sort of pun with "kiss" and "squeak" being the same word or something. Which doesn't explain weakness since that's the kind of pun that typically results in "mouse with giant lips", but w/e.

My first time trying to unlock Super Hard, I missed just 2 chests and it didn't unlock for me until I went in and got 100%.
