Hello welcome to Salt n' Batteries the good channel for some LP's to watch.

What is it?

Salt n' Batteries is our new LP Group Thing™ where a bunch of people play video games and also talk.

Who is it?

The channel is managed by Pichu, with our current line-up of hot internet people including Sedron (that's the person I am,) Kuupa, Spicey, Ohmato, Sorel, Phoba, Unkle Phunkle and Slashing Prices. Please enjoy a varied selection of human beings in each video.

What are you playing as of this post?

Currently we have three episodes of the hit classic video game Panic Restaurant, twenty two episodes of Monster Rancher, and a complete playthrough of Princess Remedy.

Will you play other games?

Probably. We have a lot of ideas.

Who did the arts?

That was Pichu. Please send her lots of PM's with the phrase "Fantastic job at the pictures!"

Okay.

another new monster rancher came out yesterday!

We have tons of ideas for series! We're definitely going to finish Panic Restaurant first, and we'll see what comes next. Once we have enough videos on the channel I'll probably advertise it on my main channel.

Ah, Monster Rancher Battle Card... I also played it as a kid, and didn't really notice the silly translations too much until I watched those videos.
There's some... special cases of translations later in the game to look forward to. Good job so far... I'm really enjoying it. I always liked using Tiger due to the potential to deal 7 damage for nothing.
I am prone to almost everything... except spontaneous violence.
Any questions, concerns, or aspirations you have with me can go to the PM box... Now here's a quote:

That section on the E-sports commentators was amazing, and I love it. How do you all feel being in the only Monster Rancher Battle Card video that has upside-down gameplay on all of youtube?

I know exactly which boss fight was being expected, and I'm looking forward to that, too. (Can I request that animations be turned on during these boss fights? Some of the crossbreed animations are incredibly silly...)

I actually didn't think about that at all. I'll try to remember them for next time.

I can confirm that Mikey is worse than Cox.
How dare you forget to talk to your mom after that... you really should!

I actually have a copy of this on a Game Boy Advance SP... Now that you mention it, this is a little like the Battle Network games.
Monster Rancheropolis is a great name for a world, and I wish they do it for a future title. (If there even is one....)

There actually is a real life Monster Rancher card game, but it was pretty short-lived. It was also nothing like this, and was instead based on the anime... (Which was actually pretty solid for the time)
Lastly... Toxic is terrible in the Monster Rancher meta. Charge is where it's at! (Gosh, I am such a nerd..)
Mocchi is probably the most annoying monster to face, with those three defensive skills... good thing it (usually) has only low powered moves.

I still like the editing here.

BIG BLUE. My gosh, this was a great episode. There's a few things I want to say about this all. First off, the crossbreeds here are only a tiny sampling of what's in the actual main games. Notably, Pixie (and to a lesser extent, Tiger) could crossbreed with pretty much ANYTHING. For Pixie's case, that went up to and included... a whale and an alien. ...It's a pretty weird series.

Now, about Big Blue himself.... He's even scarier than a Golem with Back Rolls. He can also use Jump. Which indeed doubles the power of his Power Attack on the following turn. With Tiger, it can sometimes be potent, but with Big Blue... I'm just going to say two words; Brow Hit. And then there's Kick... Oh, and Fairy Hare can also do this with Soar for less guts. No wonder they both have nerfed health.

Those are about as good as the animations get for the crossbreeds... though there might be a few more that are funny.

Princess Remedy looks like an incredibly talkhaus game in its presentation. Your playthrough of it was a blast, and a nice introduction to what the game is. The final boss was really silly, too.

As for the Battle Card... I've been meaning to offer a few tips. Mainly, you don't want to be turning the Tiger combo cards into guts so recklessly. A 7 or 3 damage for nothing is great, especially since Hares, Pixie, and Suezos cannot dodge that. It's a big part of what makes Tiger so great. Cyclone is simply superior to Quake, and you should probably swap that card in.... Lastly, the effects of the Skates are important. I want you all to see them in action.

Have a nice day.
