Heyo! Doom's a pretty good game!
It's got a super solid design (Doom II especially) that's been explored very thoroughly by the Community, and is a fantastic case study for excellence in game design. It's one of my favorites, and one of my favorites to talk about - so I figure, hey, why not share my thoughts on this and some of the many wonderful projects people have created with it as a base.
Also this is apparently how I wanted to spend my birthday, so there's that!
