My understanding is that they need 7 human souls to break the barrier, but a human soul and a monster soul together can cross through. Otherwise, Asriel could have broken the barrier himself when he merged with the human.

I still don't know what happens to the human in that ending.

All is black. You didn't have a monster soul. You couldn't possibly have left.

Of course there are theories. It could even be something as ridiculous as Flowey crossing the barrier (he can with his 6 human souls), and you loading Flowey's save file (in Flowetale), which happens to be right outside the barrier.

Alphys isn't really disguising it. She just used to same excuse to get away as Papyrus did.
What the human thinks is a "bathroom sign" is just a silhouette of alphys.

there are a few undyne calls where she talks about puking for puzzles. so yeah, probably. god only knows what they're puking up though

The blue attacks are now darker because of the latest patch to the game. It's supposed to help color blind people.

If you remember at the very start, the prompt is "Name the fallen human" which is intentionally ambiguous. So yeah, the player character is always Frisk. If you head into the home and look in the mirror, the game will mention it. That's why there was already a coffin for "Porch"

I definitely would recommend reading more of the lore and stuff because the detail and backstory is cool. If you wanna learn more about the reason for Flowey/Asriel being the way he is, you can watch the watch the lead up to the final fight in the kill everything run (the part where the monsters tell you the backstory is completely different).

You should also look up what happens if you go back to the starting area after the Asriel fight. I think you're locked from it once you leave the underground unfortunately...

from my understanding he actually only disappears if you've already talked to him once

also there were a couple of hints in things people said previously as to how Asriel became a flower:

in the final area, the monsters said "his dust spread across the garden" and one of Alphys's logs says she used the first golden flower that grew in the garden from the outside world as her test subject

I'm super glad y'all enjoyed it so much!! I might do a bonus video in the future (plus a couple of people have asked for me to do a no mercy run down the line… I may but idk if I'll be able to stomach it), aside from that like I said I plan to screw around a lot on my own to see more fun stuff
