it's way too punishing for a game that has such a limited life system and the last video basically shows exactly why
There's one more set of levels after this one, but all of them are kind of short if I'm remembering right.

The potions giving back lives and working the way they do is a good way to address the way players interact with lives, however... LIVES COULD JUST BE TAKEN OUT!

You better be doing one level every day of the week! If you fast forward too much you'll probably skip over Christmas!

To get that hat you just have to shoot the statue(?) thing, afaik. Should just drop down and you can pick it up; no need to mess around with the cross.

Not that it actually... you know, does anything.

I haven't seen anyone in the comments give the correct option? You can just Mind Missile the hat. It'll lock on.

Tuesday is my least favorite level in the game. I really dislike the dash mechanic, and this level forces you to use it constantly. Also it's the only level that forces you to take damage? I could not figure out any way to get through the reducers without losing health.

You see mibibli actually has no gender thats why they weren't able to enter either bathrooms and instead just phased through the floor

Tuesday was rough though, that homing spike/missile thing in the auto-scroll was over-doing it, the spike platforming mixed with auto-scroll seemed hard enough. And the forced damage was painful. (at least they give you health before facing them though)

Thankfully it wasnt totally cruel with a boss fight or anything that would have ruined your day.

You should still get the hat though, solely on the basis that its a cool hat you can put on your head

mibibli's quest now in surround sound

I wonder if Rao somehow has the final boss that's coming with the Steam version of the game.

If not, don't expect one, or even much of a satisfying second ending.

Can you dash through pushbot when it tries to push you off the edge? The dash mechanic in this game seems a bit unreliable, so maybe that wouldn't be safer anyway, but it seems like it might be a possible solution for dealing with that if it works.

I liked this LP for rao's commentary, but the game itself left me cold. Games/movies/books/whatever that go out of their way to troll the player/viewer/reader are just tiresome to me. There's a line between "defying expectations" and "trolling you for having expectations" and Mibibli's Quest crossed it for me. I dunno, just looking forward to Guacamelee now.

I quite like Mibili's quest as a game. Though the ending is disappointing, naturally. (which is thankfully going to be fixed on Steam release, apparently)

I actually know a few things about Guacamelee, so this is going to be fun...
I am prone to almost everything... except spontaneous violence.

I...honestly don't know what to think about this game. It seemed sort of interesting a trippy at first, then got a touch boring in world 2, then eerie and entropic (in a good way) in world 3, which almost saved things atmospherically, until it just sort of fizzled out at the end. Gameplay-wise, it seemed like something I wouldn't much enjoy, with a lot of cheap and sloppy bits, a bit too much repetition, and not a huge amount of balance. Most of the bosses (with a few notable exceptions) felt unremarkable, as did most of the weapons (which could simply be a factor of raocow not using them all that much), though I did like the slugs. The music was pretty nifty, at least. Much of the rest of the game feels a little rough-hewn, though, like you're playing a draft, which the lack of a final boss and very minor difference between the two endings does little to alleviate.

Mibibli, you're weird and so is your game. But I think you know and revel in this. Whatever floats your boat, pigsy.
