So I got bored and decided to occasionally play bits of Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal, with terrible commentary and upload them to the interwebs. Vietnamese Crystal is a fan translation from what appears to be a Chinese copy of Pokemon Crystal, into English. Apparently it has been done by someone who does not speak English, and with a lot of patch bugs. It makes for a surreal and hilarious experience.

I decided to do something a bit different though. While recording, I'll be opening a live Skype channel people can join. Anyone can jump in and watch the game being played, and join in the commentary.

Also mild language warning because not all of Vietnamese Crystal's translation is entirely safe for work.

Pirated games on the Talkhaus? Hoo boy, that's a thing!

Funny enough I own a few pirate games myself on a physical copy.

From Top Left to Bottom Right:
- Normal Pokemon Sapphire, but with the berry glitch.
- Normal Warioware: Twisted WITHOUT THE GYRO (so you play with D-Pad)
- Yong Yong Pokemon Jade (Sonic Adventure 7 clone)
- Yong Yong Pokemon Diamond
- Normal Pokemon Red, but was prone to battery shortages so I lost data easily
- Normal Battle Him, but on a pirated cart
- Poorly translated Pokemon Green...dare I even say...just as hilariously badly translated as Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal.

And I recently found one of my two lost carts...WHICH DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE:


The other cart was pretty much like this one, but the main game was Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3

The 48 in one is pretty much one Super Mario Circuit and 47 NES games, though a few of them are bootlegs. The Yoshi's island one had a great Pokemon Silver bootleg that was a re-skinned Little Nemo: Dream Master.

I'm also going to the world of black market pirated games next year, so who knows, I might even want to buy some of these on purpose!

I can still remember playing bootleg pokemon quartz, and I still have my bootleg ruby! Hall of fame is broken on it, though, and oddly enough... berry glitch happens sometimes, and not others.

I love me some bad translations, so Ill be eagerly await each episode. :)

Oh my goodness, I just realized how evil sounding my voice was in 40:48...

Anyways, that was a pretty great session. It'd be nice if I could do it again sometime, since I was wanting to share some tidbits of knowledge I knew about Vietnam and China.
