so yes
my level was Estate, 271st place
i honestly did give the concept i described a go originally, i have all the assets for it and everything. it was quite depressing at the time, but looking back at it its probably for the best that i ended up in the lower tiers without submitting something i put a lot of work into. the background is one of the standard backgrounds with a picture of lenin edited into it, and the sound is me gurgling into a microphone distorted with audacity
also, i got to name the video, so happy face
i thought i spoilered that

Those actually gave me a genuine laugh. Now all my coworkers think I'm weird!
Seriously though, rpgfan4 and Burgers level were just incredibly funny to watch!~

General rule of thumb: almost all graphical or level-design stuff in the hub was made by Willhart, and all the text was either written or touched up by me. The avatars of myself, Willhart, Quill, and Sturg were mine too though, and I also made the little mini-map next to Horikawa.

Am I the only one who thought vs. pewdiepie was a little funny and also would have been funnier in MaFaB.

Oh my god the hub. Like, MaGL X1 already felt like a game, but this one feels orders of magnitude more like a game than the first. Just. Wow.
Also I think Behold, There Is a Presentation! Deceive! may have just topped Mission: Proud Sky. We all thought it couldn't be done. And yet, there it is.

Fun fact, we've got a project going (MAGL X: The Lost Levels) that's about making levels out of the rejected names. If you want to try and put together your original idea after all, you could submit it to that. (We're also thinking of bonus levels with some of the actually-used names, if you wanted to keep the name used here.)

Well this was a way to start! I know my level's probably low in ranking but still watching all these troll levels, wow. This one episode makes up for the entirety of Soldexus, heh.
Also oh wow I recognize that SDM background in RPGfan's level from Sengoku Gensokyo (I think????????), which was a pretty alright game. Also hentai.

Too bad this music at the beginning was suddenly cut off, it sounded really nice!
As of yet everything looks amazing, I wonder how many little thing like "Least favourite" award has been implemented.

Who needs actual good levels when we could just have a full contest of deceiving presentations?

That hub is seriously my favorite of any I've seen, no lie. Willhart and Blivsey totally nailed it. It's just so clean looking and pleasing to the eye. Also, that touch to add the 'bigger map' was super neat haha.

Have some music sources. Some of them were chosen by me and some by Blivsey.
The Main Hub = Rain falling down by Zorgman
The Sewers = Crash Bandicoot 2 - Sewer theme
HatKid wrote:oh crap, I forgot to make my level end with a star
Horikawa fixed those before sending the levels to the other judges. There is no need to worry about that.

I'm still hyped as I can't watch it until later. I fully expect my level to come up in the first few videos, but hey, it was fun, that's what matters. This is gonna be a good summer.

THE JOKE FUNNIES OH MAN
Hopefully I'll be waiting for a few weeks/a month or two to see my level, but these lowest-scoring levels are amazing in a terrifying way, somehow.

Soldexus justified itself by providing the 'judge's poop' award banner.

Wow, that hub world is really cool! It seems more polished than the MaGLX1 hub at the very least (Which wasn't bad at all, this one just looks better)
The last place levels are almost always a treat to see. Well, if the joke works. I can't say it worked for all of them, but the ones that did were amusing enough. They might not have won the contest, but they won my heart.
Except no, not really.

"We didn't win" cracked me up for some reason.
Well-earned, chumpions! Pretty funny stuff today.
