If they're legit testing with godmode and not with normalmode, don't accept the freaking level. If something like this is submitted again, demand the creator a video of them playing it normally. I don't even know why people think testing with godmode is a good idea.

You'd think after last year "Devil Mansion" wouldn't be allowed in the name generator.

My thoughts:

The sections that weren't a single screen didn't look too bad, but man
the survival room and boss were absurd. The boss could be a little better if
it at least had less health (maybe 100 instead of 200). Still it just looked
boring. Random crap coming at you constantly doesn't create a fun engaging boss.
If the author had scrapped the survival room and boss and replaced them with
regular level sections it would of been loads better.

Also seriously what do people have against midpoints? It's not like they
are hard to use.

Also wow demos/deaths more than doubled in just one level. I had a similar experience
when I played the last level in AVGN Adventures.

Next year (read: end of this year) MaGL X3 isn't happening. Instead, MaGL 3 is happening.

Year after next (read: end of next year), MaGL X3 will happen. However, like last year (read: MaGL X2), due to the insane popularity of these contests generating an incredible amount of people wanting to run them, we will do a vote where each potential candidate will make a pitch and users of SMBX Forums and Talkhaus will decide. For MaGL X2, I was the winner.

Next MaGL X, I don't know if I'll run, but I probably won't. Either way, you can pitch your idea then and see how excited people get over it =). Or run your idea as a non-MaGL contest (which of course means raocow is not guaranteed to LP it, it gets less participation, etc).

Wow showing off my n00bness here, sorry! I'll definitely enter, if only because if we use 2016 LUA tech to have people make GOOD shmup SMBX levels then we can have more people perfect the craft and fewer levels like yesterday happen! :D

I was a bit startled by the third level because one of the levels I tested had Sub-Zero in the name and at first I thought it was the same name, but it wasn't the same person and I soon remembered the name was different. (Even if I don't exactly remember the other level.)

Horikawa, was this the "what were they thinking with the second star" level you scared us with in the discussion thread, or is there something even worse in that regard for us to look forward to?

When I saw Mega Pony in the video thumbnail, I was not expecting "In hell, horses climb their mountains.".

I love the show and respect the fangame, but I fail to see what changing the appearance of a one-tile-wide character/hitbox into a two-tile-wide sprite was trying to add to the level. Even if it is an epic dinosaur.
