ugh...

I hate that.

You get SO pissed off, at one spot, you stop playing...

Then when you return a day, or a week, or a month later, you beat him your first try. :/

Actually, he should stop listening to the random requests/demands of his viewers who didn't spend five hours today struggling with the final boss and just finish the game on his own terms.
I agree. :?

His comment appears completely random, but I've found that using the egg suit makes the game somewhat easier because you're smaller and less likely to get hit by stuff.

Although, I'm not sure if Patashu made that comment because of my reason or because he's just random like that.

Pretty sure the hitbox is always the same no matter which costume you're using. For example, the Ogmo costume is huge, but having bullets scrape the edges of its sprite doesn't hurt you.

You do get bonus graze points though.

Hang on, I think I'm in the wrong topic.

If you think raocow is having trouble on FinalBoss, just wait until you see MorEvil on Matt's forum upload his video of FinalBoss on Insanity.

Temple of the Ocean King Visit 5, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass...
World 4 boss as Sonic in Sonic Advance...

Time between 2nd most recent attempt and winning attempt on all: 2 years.

months? blasphemy

I personally LOVED today's AUS video...

I really wasn't expecting Matt to randomly insert clowns and a dancing asian girl into the final cutscene... but it seems to flow quite well!

The clowns were nice, but come on, pantyshots during the dance sequence? Not cool.

AUS has officially reached the point where I'm not having fun, and I am conscious of not having fun.

This is really sad, but I can understand you. I have the same problem in this game. Last weak I reached the last boss and failed over and over again and then I stopped playing it. That just is not fun.

Let's be honest, an lp on regular wouldn't had been as thrilling. Also, the difficult was, like, PERFECT up to the boss.

Oh well!

The diffculty between Regular and Difficult must really be huge for the final boss because I played on Regular and while he was hard to beat he was still very doable for me...

He shoots more lazers and shit, he needs more hits and he moves faster. Yes thats the difference. It doesn't sound like much but it is really annoying.

Final Boss Tips

Part 1: I just moved in an "infinity" pattern between the grey shots and stood in the middle when the big one is being fired. Optimal hits taken: 0
Part 2: Never get between the 2 bosses and keep your distance for about 5-10 seconds before starting to ascend to attack them. Try to focus the first 2 hits on the same circle so that you can have one fewer to deal with sooner. The consequences of that are that the remaining circle starts chasing you, though. Try to stay in the air as long as possible before hitting another energy to make sure there are always more to use if you need a quick escape. It's going to require some excellent control to hit those energies correctly. Optimal hits taken: 0-2
Part 3: Not quite as hard as you would think. If you don't know it, you CAN destroy those gray shots with your fireball. Just jump up when they first launch and shoot a fireball. If you time it correctly, the gray shot will just about fly straight into the fireball when its homing in on you. It's IMPORTANT to destroy these as they come so you aren't constantly zipping around getting hit by everything. The big laser attack isn't difficult to dodge either, it doesn't even hurt you right away. When the boss charges, wait on one side of him, then when the laser fires it will be a thin yet growing beam. Jump when you see it fired (if I remember correctly, it won't hurt you until its fully grown) to the other side, and the boss should rotate the laser about 160 degrees, stopping just short of you. Optimal hits taken: 0-2
Part 4: Good luck. Save all your health for here.

part 4 is the easiest, it's part five the problem, but yeah.

Man, I know all that, and yet, YET, victory cannot be gotten!

Well, I considered walking-thing and flying-thing to be the same part. Anyway, that sucks, sorry I couldn't be of more help. I beat that damn guy on Difficult eventually though.

I hope some people who were disappointed with the final boss´s difficulty read all this here and understand that he actually is the hardest thing in the game. Way more annoying than blackcastle or anything. And that´s "just" on Difficult! Gotta see him on Masterful! Especially the final 20 seconds of part 5!

http://img35.imageshack.us/i/masterful2 ... heres.jpg/

And that picture was even lucky. The fat white balls can fall in more annoying positions than that, which makes it seem completely impossible to dodge sometimes...

That's it, we're naming the final boss "Lasermaku Jackson"

I thought BlackCastle was harder. The last boss has less patterns and maneuvers to learn than about 15 spiky rooms. I was definitely stuck on BlackCastle longer and died there probably 8 times more than on the final boss.

It looks something like what you see in this image: http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/3264/ninjasuit.png

Personally, I don't care if he buys it or not. In fact, I kind of like the fact that he's denying his capitalistic urges to spend all his shiny rocks. I mean, a ninja suit may be a ninja suit, but he's got a thousand pretty rocks!
This is the thing everyone and their mother was jonesing for raocow to buy?
Seriously?

What is it about final bosses that people just don't hold back on, compared to everything up to the final boss.
