Hey cow, if you want to get a 100% ranking despite not getting that heart, I have a 100% Difficult save file from right before the final boss, with the ninja suit too. You don't get anything for 100%, but you worked hard for it and you might as well have that little number displayed on your screen for the world to see.

Final boss update: two hours later and I still haven't beaten him. The ENTIRETY of the diffculty rests in that stupid second phase where I keep hitting everything combined with the laser in phase three which I still can't dodge.

Uggh.

Will try again later today.

Oh boy. Hmm, makes you wonder why the first phase even exists. It's kinda like those falling grapes, it just takes a while and makes you take longer and then you get impatient and run your face into something. Difficulty should be more equally distributed than that, no?

Awh! You'll get it soon. There's probably a learning curve somewhere in there.

...and a missing heart and ninja suit...

I actually get hit on that form every once in a while, and it doesn't take as long as the falling purple grape room. It actually requires some effort, too, so that form isn't so bad.

Also, I really hope that raocow films his first reaction to the boss's final form.

Aw. The spike in difficulty from Regular to Difficult strikes again! He's almost a joke on Reg, but with the damage you get in Diff, such is not the case. :o

"I don't want to get that heart."

I guess that this means that he is going for a 99% completion, then.

You did all the heart doors, you did the FireCage heart door on the way to the boss every single time you died, you did JumpBox, you did RainbowDive, and you're going to skip over a little tiny secret passage in BlackCastle because you failed to get it once?

That's rather diappointing.

But at least we saw the final boss today. Your conversation with him was hilarious, and I'm not quite sure why. But it was great.

raocow, a couple of notes for you:

1. If you don't get the heart BEFORE the fight, you don't get 100% completion without beating him again.

2. I've never had that glitch with the blocks happen. Just don't jump into the blocks and try again.

Indeed, after all that effort, I think that it would be a shame to skip over something small like that and not get 100% completion - it would seem like all that effort would somewhat be wasted. I mean, if raocow didn't want 100%, he could have just skipped JumpBox, RainbowDive, and a whole lot of those heart doors, because, after all, those were just for a single heart that he probably didn't need for anything except 100%, and if he is not going for 100%, that would pretty much ruin the point of doing all those other things that probably take more effort than getting this heart.

i just spent five hours not beating the final boss so give me a freaking break

ktomorrow - failure video or no video at all - i can also keep my 'first impressions' in stock and add my victory, whenever that is, at the end.

re-edit - you know what, fine, I'll get that heart, but there's no video tomorrow. I'll fit it in somewhere.

you should do a video-- a video of you buying the ninja suit, finishing your house if you haven't already, and you pushing the switch, and getting the heart. It'll be like a... 4 minute video.

Or a 2 minute video, if you don't bother trying to get the heart.

it'd be a good idea, but I really, really don't feel like playing aus for the rest of the day, if you can understand that.

He should not buy the ninja suit. He should use the egg suit instead.

Why is the ninja suit such a big deal? What does it even look like?

Actually, he should stop listening to the random requests/demands of his viewers who didn't spend five hours today struggling with the final boss and just finish the game on his own terms.

It looks something like what you see in this image: http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/3264/ninjasuit.png

Personally, I don't care if he buys it or not. In fact, I kind of like the fact that he's denying his capitalistic urges to spend all his shiny rocks. I mean, a ninja suit may be a ninja suit, but he's got a thousand pretty rocks!

If you're worrying about buying stuff because you don't have enough money, then you could try filling out the map. Yes, in EVERY area. Even the current one.
Not saying anything else though, or i might get shot. ;_;

Gah, raocow is also struggling on the boss for 5 hours. Anyway, you could try to set up a goal for taking damage. For example:

Final Boss 1: 0 hits
Final Boss 2: 2-3 hits
Final Boss 3: 3-4 hits

raocow, it's usually worse to continuously play a game to beat a boss, you'll probably get it the first try tomorrow. XD
