I managed to do the long far jumps exactly once, and it still killed me. So I used outside-level powerups to ignore them.

I'm not sure the tutorial would've helped me though :v

Also hey Iguzamini this game's cool.

The long jump ramps look neat but super hard to control.

Kind of reminds me of Bob's booster plant level from MAGL2 (good times!).

I wasn't really expecting mine cart levels to work in smebex. It's certainly a step up from the last ones I remember (the painful weirdly-hitboxed ones in Drama Mistery).

I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not! Well, I feel complimented enough that you remembered it. :D The boost blocks were way easier to use than the longfar trick ramps but they were a nightmare 'cus of SMW camera control and deciding to make a vertical level for some reason

That boss was a rough approximation of the first boss in Sonic Colors.

raocow, it might be a wise decision to farm some lives somewhere before you start world 3. I don't think the upper path has a good life farm spot, so you may have to use the toad house in world 1.

Man, it's nice to see someone else bash their face in playing this game.

While there are a few breathers scattered around, the difficulty mostly only goes up from here!

The next two levels aren't nearly as long as today's were at least.

Silly cow, the casino song is from Sonic 2!

Also, did the Sonic Colors boss always have death lasers? Because I remember him being rather pathetic.

Did the new patch fix the music or was that SAJewers/Horikawa's work? For those who don't know, the music in Casino Night used to not work at all, boss included.

Ah, Casino Night Zone. Am I the only one who had Tails severely glitch out in that level? He was always sliding backwards through walls. My brother and I didn't know what glitches were at the time, so we just said he was psychic-type.
This fits me far too well:

What level was that? The only issues I had were the 6 or songs in .wma format, the Sonic songs with the Corrupted Filenames, and a few songs with a bitrate not 44.1k (but that's SDL2, not vanilla SMBX).

Also, I had already fixed them up myself for when I played it, I should have just sent you my fixed copy I could've easily fixed it for you.

The base song, maybe, but the actual song used in-level is from Sonic Generations. The casino song raocow was probably thinking about- Casinopolis- would be any of these:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbUnNSChvb4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBubhXwyzGo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCDJqz6jsmw
or the main lobby...

There's also the chance that he may be thinking of Casino Park or BINGO Highway (both from Sonic Heroes), but I doubt it.

For one level videos, the first thing that comes to mind in terms of video names are either anagrams or a mixed order of the words. Both levels today were really nice looking.

That reminds me- has anyone figured out Vanilla 2014's episode naming yet?

Man, I expected the patch to make the game easier, not harder! The NEXT! lightning barriers weren't there before in the Tetris level.

It seems to be hit or miss. While they added in the Next Lines and Lazers to the World 2 Boss to make things easier, they replaced 7-5 with a much easier level (and 7-5 was the biggest gripe I had with the game).

I haven't seen all the changes though.

Situations where the difficulty is consistent except for one or two weirdly difficult jumps are not really ones that I'd be a fan of?
