Oh no...I think I know what's going to happen.

Before that though, Horikawa, I didn't know pokemon were allowed in the Mario universe. Squirtles on jury, amazing. /teasing
I feel really bad for Cats' position. I would hate for Boolina having to retire, but I guess that's how DnD/Cortex sessions go, i dunno never done one.
Here I could of allowed Dito, Surge, and raocow to text each other with the lawyers stuff because they were all representing an attorney, so it would make sense.
I'm now wondering what a mock trial would be like since this was roughly done. But maybe I'm too much of a Phoenix Wright fan and just overthinking it's excitment.

Well, now there will be 2 weeks of nothing till the next session comes up. I really do enjoy this "let's play". Just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best out of this situation.

Ahhh wow... that sure makes for a season finale...

R.I.P. Boolina. Long live Boolina.

Also... I kind of feel like the League of Janitors isn't just going to take getting called out by multiple people (even if some got declared unreliable) lying down... I have a feeling someone's gonna pay for that.

It's gonna be Rezcow... why? Because he's Rezcow and won't understand what's going on... making it funnier.

I bought it today, thanks for the link. :>

Also, regarding season-finale: I didn't watch it yet because I had no spare time, but I'm totally down with a pause of 2 weeks, take your time dito! You're putting a lot of work into this after all and it's free entertainment, so nobody can burn your socks for that anyways!

Well that was quite a season ender, Boolina's kinda stolen the show with her... ahem, confused state/insanity, kinda curious if the Wendy Koopa comment was a blatant lie or not now, but her Dad being responsible for well, everything that's happened, oh boy.

I adored the pastor's defence... "He's the dinosaur one right?", also hooray for Darryyll!

Looking forward to when this returns. :)

I defy that spelling, e's pronounced like a's, utter madness. Though I would not say that to his face... we don't know exactly what these Ninji are capable of. :P

Cortex returns today!

About when May hit, we suddenly became a lot busier on average. So you'll sometimes be seeing some play-sessions where one of us are missing. It works out really well in-story, though, for varying reasons.

Seriously though. It didn't feel as long as I expected it to. Can't wait to hear the new episode!

first of, I thought the break was going to be a little bit longer, so cool that it's back...with the dueling of the keyboards around 33:40. I don't know who's recording, but it probably would of been best to turn that call private and RPed then, but meh, I don't know what's going on.

I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't listened in yet, so don't look at the spoilers
I'm sadden that Cats has to retire Boolina, even though things started to get messed up at the end, she was one of the main reasons why the story has gotten as far as it has. But in the end, it was obvious that this was going to happen.
With that aside, when Cats' new character comes into play, I'll be ready to make those sprites.
This did feel really slow for a return, just because after all that you all are back to where you started, probably worse than where your started. *sigh* Seeing how you're all doing, I see the Mushroom Kingdom doomed. Where's the Mario Bros when you need them?

Wow, that went surprsingly well! Someone please make fanart of Big Boo Johnsson bursting in the room with Rezcow and Jakeyboy!

Yeah this episode was a little slow, but we DID hang out in that waiting room for quite some time. I didn't want to lose some of those funny moments, but if I cut straight from one to the next it sounded really weird, so I left in 3-5 second "typing duels" as you call them to represent the actual 1-minute segments of typing in silence. raocow was chatting to horikawa for a long time!

Things'll definitely speed up in the next episode ( ), and then immediately after that there's a session where we'll meet Cat's new character!

Horikawa Otane wrote:i've decided he's both big boo jones and big boo johnson depending on how well you know him
While editing, I did go back to the episode where Boolina comes clean, and discovered how very very wrong I was.
For some reason back when "Big Boo Johnson" was first said, I thought Boolina's last name was Johnson, so my reaction at the was "haha, it's a really funny moment where we only now realize that she's clearly the daughter of this famous mob boss with the same name". So I internalized that "last name connection", which later led to me thinking "Big Boo Jones" when I had a better grip on Boolina's actual full name. So then when when we have that retcon/re-retcon moment, I was very certain of something that was very wrong. I'm afraid I'm turning into caesar.
I deleted most of our arguing from the episode, partly to make things less complicated for the viewers and partly to hide my shame. I now totally buy that "Jones" is the family's last name but "Big Boo Johnson" is the name he's famous by. I think raocow said that aloud at some point during the episode.

Yeah, I see the reasonings of the wait and it makes sense, just like the other sessions. I will admit that the editing was clean cut enough where I didn't tell that you had edited much at all. At times I forget the amount of time you all really spend in call with this, but i guess it shows how into the adventure I am. So a win/win and your part.

I'm more hoping the group meets up with Bowser, since you did such a fantastic job voicing him out. XD

Obviously not. They are gonna f*** things up somehow and THINK they are working for the Bros but really doing stuff for Bowser. I understand the psychology behind this group now. (And what Horikawa can make happen).

oh gosh that's terrifying

(but also don't sweat it, I haven't watched the most recent episode yet but from the sound of things I'm pretty sure I made the same "last name connection" mistake)

Oh sweet I wasn't expecting this to come back so soon, what a nice thing to wake up too. :)

Kinda figured Boolina would be retired, wonder what cats is going to be next.

I don't think I like the idea of the party flying a plane, considering how things tend to go whenever the group does anything. XD

Listening to these really makes me want to try my hand at some fanart, maybe I'll unretire my tablet sometime.

Eh, a few Parakoopas less never hurt anybody.
