I didn't get the sense from raocow's trailer video that Cave Story falls into the category of "game he doesn't want to play." There are definitely some games in the list that clearly fall into that category - but I don't think Cave Story is one of them.

I think what people are talking about is this. At one point he flat out stated he would not play Cave Story (along with Minecraft).

A big part of why rao had a standing order of "do not suggest Cave Story" was because Cave Story was the Undertale of its time. It was literally getting suggested every week, and it was (in rao's opinion) over-LP'd. He said in the most recent trailer compilation video that it's cooled down enough that he'd be willing to play it at this point if it won enough support.

unfortunately I'm gonna have to delay the video to tomorrow. I just got done processing my wario land video and it's 2gb, so it's gonna take a while to upload (+ I haven't even started on Rex Rocket yet) -- turns out a 25 minute video with rain through the whole thing gets pretty huge, who knows!

anyway, what this means is that when all is done, since you can only upload one video at a time on youtube I'd end up uploading the patreon video way in the evening, in which case I'd rather delay it by a day.

My apologies for any inconveniance this may cause :(

Might be a result of Patreon's comment system where pressing enter posts it as opposed to putting in a line break. Which is dumb.

[Game Only One Person Voted For] has more vote points than Cave Story. I'd also count to see if it qualifies for "more than Undertale" but some of the early voters voted it way up - that one might be breaking an even zero.

Positive votes for it total at 14.

Also, Djinn had to edit his thing a bunch, so make sure to count his thing too raocow
