As for the voting method...oh holy jeez. I appreciate the sentiment of trying to see not just people's favorites, but also what they think of all of the games vis-à-vis one another in case there's a consistent third place choiceor something, and think this might have worked if there were, say, 15-20 suggestions or so, but with this many I think the system actually works against itself as certain scores get inflated/deflated due to random apathy placement. And woe to a game who dares have a name which comes near the end of the alphabet, as they get the double curse of coming later in the video as well as being lower on the list by default.

I don't think it would be so bad if you had to manually move every game into the list, but the fact that it's reordering an already alphabetical list is definitely hurting some games it seems.

For what it's worth, I gave Nail 'n Scale a reasonably decent score due to its awakening a vague childhood memory of reading an article about it in a gaming magazine and thinking it looked like something I might be moderately interested in playing. I never actually got the opportunity to do so, however, and over the years it gradually faded from my memory. I didn't even recognize it immediately from the playthrough video; it was only due to raocow repeatedly stressing that it was a game no one had ever heard of that it slowly dawned on me that I had heard of it before, albeit through a glass, darkly. Often do we bask in video game nostalgia in this era where the media of years past are now so readily available at our fingertips, but it's less often that we get a chance to travel down Foggy Memory Lane and veer off onto one of those side streets we never took, following them into the alleyways of could-have-been and courtyards of never-was.

I honestly don't think rao should play Undertale for an audience. It's something that he'll enjoy a lot more if he didn't feel like he had to be entertaining while playing it. Especially since he probably knows a lot about it just from being an entity on the internet in late 2015.

The only reason I didn't rank it dead last was because there actually was a game on the list that I felt deserved to be dead last... Sonic 2 XL. Once you know what the gimmick is, you may as well go all the way and run Ascetic Sonic 2.

E: While it's true that getting the onion rings isn't an instakill and you can run off the weight from eating the rings, that sort of "resource" management isn't something rao would find fun. Especially since, like Omochao Edition, it gets to the point where it's better to just avoid rings entirely when possible.

As of now: six of the top ten begin with the letter A; none begins with anything later than the fifth letter of the alphabet. As for the bottom 10, all of them (except for the somewhat unexpected last place) are correspondingly weighted towards the end of the alphabet. M's (being the 13th letter) seem in turn to largely congregate around the middle of the rankings. I fear the unintended effects of the default alphabetical ordering are coming through more strongly than anyone had expected.

There's a large contingent who think making raocow play a game he doesn't want to play is a good idea. Hopefully once we get a less whack voting method we can still avoid that eventuality, though.

I don't think I've seen any good ones. Also I'd expect people vote for that game, if they want to see raocow play it for some reason. Maybe for nostalgia for example.

Edit: I also see that games like Ori and the Blind Forest have climbed up a lot on the list, but I don't really see the gaining up the huge score difference.

I didn't get the sense from raocow's trailer video that Cave Story falls into the category of "game he doesn't want to play." There are definitely some games in the list that clearly fall into that category - but I don't think Cave Story is one of them.

Looking through the pat-a-pon comments, I'm really liking the idea of "Choose your Top 10!", maybe throw in an optional "Choose your Bottom 5" or something like that.

I think I saw someone also mention a ranking system? That'd probably work a bit better than "Rearrange literally all these games in order of what you want most or least" given that the list this time is HUGE.

Looking at the top 5, there were only two people who chose the winner as their number 1 game. I find that kind of worrying.

Edit: Each column shows how many people had a game as their first, second, third and so on.
