As far as I'm up to all the bosses are pretty lame/easy. The game itself gets pretty hard starting at world 4
also the time limit is so short, you see how fast that thing counts down.

I'm gonna suggest maybe taking the time to look for all the red stars during the LP, or at the very least get 'em complete before you post the next vid(show us if you found anything interesting). The game is great but it will be a very fast LP if you play it straight. Looking for stars is also the only way I found the many secret exits, which play a huge part in what you discover during game.
Maladrace, I'm sure you expect more of the same by now, so um, keep those exceptions going lest you be disappointed. That said, wtf final boss. Definitely something to look forward to. Still a little easy, so don't get your hopes up, but very wtf.

Bunny Marisa's twirly ear thing actually controls somewhat like Yoshi's flutter jump from Yoshi's Island. Also when you get the Suwako suit your highest priority should be to duck.

i tried playing NSMarisaW and i quit immediately after i found out how finnicky the dash mechanic was
like you can't do a longish jump unless you run on 2-3 spaces of ground, in SMarioW you can do a longish jump from a standstill
oh also the reimu yinyang balls make it hard to hit anything unless it's in a ridiculously tight corridor so yeah

Hey, I broke a lot of hearts and emptied a lot of tear ducts with that fic.
The last several pages of it were really rushed, though. If I could do it over again I wouldn't push them out nearly as fast as I did.

I've watched the first 5 episodes and watching 6 as I post this.
Some pro tips for Kilga:
1) Purchase more lives. Don't save up too many stars. It doesn't seem to help and you'll max out before you know it.
2) The bunny suit jumps slightly higher if you let it finish hovering. Referring to video 4, level 2-4, around 9:23 in video.
3) If you hit an item box and a stationary full-power item comes out, like tea cup (miko) or carrot (bunny), it tends to not disappear. This doesn't seem to apply to mushrooms.
So if you already have full power on you and in your spare inventory, you can hit the item box, but not collect the item, in case you want to come back to get it later. For instance, if you're wearing miko and you have bunny in inventory, and you know a box contains say bunny, you can hit the box, (so you get the full power item instead of mushroom), and just leave the carrot there. Collecting that item preemptively can be a waste.
4) Minor spoiler on suits:
I think I'm on world 7 or something right now.
