Having played through Astro Boy again I'm not sure any more whether it's such a good game to LP since

it does require you to essentially play through twice to complete

. That said it is a great game and I think raocow should play it for his own sake

I know this and still support it, largely because

you are playing at full power, many levels have new enemies, and you have the full stage selection available. Also the story is entirely worth it. World's Greatest Adventure, yo.

Apparently there's gonna new bosses, enemies and areas, and the difficulty is being made to be more difficult. I think it's gonna be a long time though before it's even close to finished.

FYI for those who have been clamouring raocow to play the Crash Trilogy, it looks like they're gonna do the same thing with Spyro.

As someone noted in the patreon discord, Naka Teleeli had to censor the cutscenes when they LPd it.

Yeah I just can't fuckin get past the character portraits. Every time I think "it can't be that bad" and I go and look again and it is always is

i don't really care that they're 'sexy' (i actually LOVE Bunny Must Die), they're just so generically so, everyone has the same body and face, it's like something out of the kind of game you'd find ads for on newgrounds or something

I don't think it ever actually got accepted to the site, for this reason. I don't really understand why they didn't test their own hack, apparently it had a lot of completely obvious problems.

Let's look at this more objectively: it's fine on Steam. It's fine to Stream on Twitch, it's fine on several other Youtube channels. Therefore, it's fine for raocow to play.

Anyway, you won't have to look at the portraits for 99% of the time.
Alternatively, it would be great if someone modded the game and replaced them with shitty scribbles.
