If we are talking fangames, I wanted to see someone [that I'll actually watch] play Mario and the Sacred Bells. I don't really know anything about it even though I did play through the first level and decided it had weird controls or something as I died a couple times in it. I think paste tried it out too and said it was dumb. I still want someone to play it and I think the only reason is because I saw a video and
Seriously though, it shits out around 4 different varieties of powerup at you in the first stage
Edit: It's a gamemaker game

Irisu Syndrome is a good game. Although it's best that nobody talks about why it's a good game or it will ruin it for raocow.
"Liquid Kids" is an old Arcade Game by the same people that made Bubble Bobble. However they've since completely forgotten about it and is probably past the statute of limitations on being a "Commercial game"(Especially since being an arcade game, was never sold to the public.) You'll need to figure out how to get a MAME emulator working but it's very worth it.
Nethack Might be considered an RPG by some but it doesn't have any sort of plot and is one of those "Just keep dying and trying again!" games. Randomly generated. Very amusing.
The legend of Princess by Konjak Is a short but very very fun Zelda parody. Side-scrolling action.
Spelunky is also a randomly generated keep dying and try again game.
Tombed Is a fun little indie game that's really difficult. It even has a hacked even more difficult version called "tombed-more"

Maybe we should make an ongoing list x.x. (Considering you only really need to look through Random Week videos and the rest are already archived on site)

Same goes for me, although I would not mind something like Rosenkreuz Stilette either.

Ready for the suggestions?
http://www.theneitherworld.com/yumenikki/links.htm
I would love to see raocow play this. XD
Yume Nikki or .Flow. I think that it would be an interesting thing to see.
I was gonna suggest PS1 games but I can't...
Otherwise. Please play Touhou UFO.
I...I suck at that game, I would like to see someone do it better than me.
EDIT: In order to play these games, they might start out full screened, but are perfectly able to window using Alt+Enter or F11.
EDIT 2: Way to look at the above post person below me. >_>

Has anyone suggested Yume Nikki yet? Because I think raocow should definitely LP that.

I know he said he didn't want to do a commercial game but I've always thought
Umihara Kawase had raocow written all over it. I think he'd have a ton of fun with it and a funned-up raocow is a good raocow, right?

May I suggest: Trio The Punch - Never Forget Me.. (arcade/mame)
This 'arcade' game is utterly nonsensical in terms of its bosses and ending and made to be crappy, so bad that it's really hilarious.
You have a choice out of 3 warriors to go through a series of platform/fighting action levels, the game in its entirety isn't very long but would make some great videos.
I'd love to see you play this please give it a shot.

First off, hello topic!
Anyways, my suggestion is recently-released exploration/survival-platformer "Under the Garden". It's a pixellated art style, there is a fairly comprehensive map to explore, and it's perfect for breaking into small chunks of videos. It may only last for a week or so, but it's a good game for holding the channel down.

Here goes my list of suggestions people made that have been done by UltraJman and DeceasedCrab (HUZZAH!!!(Why did they change Balrog into the Kool Aid Man for Cave Story Wii...

)
UltraJ:
DC: (oh god I seen alot)
That doesn't mean don't play any of these games listed... its just yeah. Other famed LPers have played these.
Now, for these IWBTG and fan game like suggestions... its I()W(anna)S(ee)Y(ou)S(uffer) or nothing. Let's combine the anger of UltraJman and combine it with the wackiness of raocow.

Mother 3. Seriously. I would cry manly tears if I saw "Mother 3 Pt. 1 the start of a huge thing" in my sub box.
Failing that, Cave Story.

Agreed. Especially since this and Spelunky have been two of the most frequent suggestions (that I've noticed anyway) aside from "anything touhou."

What about Touhou Soccer 2?
It's a strategy-based soccer simulator featuring (almost) all the characters in the Touhou franchise. The English patch is a pain to install, though.
At least try it if you won't LP it, man.

Rather than suggest Cave Story and Yume Nikki like everyone else, here's some of my suggestions:
Umihara Kawase: I definitely agree with the other two people who recommended this game. It's an obscure Japanese SNES game that combines Bionic Commando, fish, and physics in one obscure package and definitely needs much more lovin.
Rocket Knight Adventures: Fun game, but probably too hard.
Pulseman: It's an action game made by Game Freak, the same developers who created Pokemon.
Rockman 2 Neta: A very short Megaman fangame. It's basically just one battle with Megaman vs. all eight of MM2's robot masters AT THE SAME TIME.
For shooters, anything from
ABA Games. They're free, although they might be difficult to get working in windowed mode.
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html
Blue Wish Resurrection Plus: A free danmaku shooter, if that's your thing.
Any of the
Parodius games would be very interesting to play through. Or maybe even *cough cough*
Cho Aniki *end cough*.
