Seeing newgrounds made me remember Time Fcuk. Is that overlp'd? It's a neato creepy puzzle game, but thinking about it I'd completely ruin the atmosphere so forget that.
That was exactly what I was going to suggest, damn. So, within a deep forest was suggested by someone above and I really liked it, too. So how about that?
Also for the problem of not being able to record full screen games: how about another recording program? I don't know if Fraps works with the game you originally wanted to play, but i know you can record full screen with it. On the other hand I guess you already thought about that and chose not to for some reason, so pretend i didn't say anything after "how about that?"

Ah ha, just go over the games tab and click the button that says "Version 1.0" :D

EDIT 8:32 AM/9:07 EST - This is for tower of heaven, forgot to say that.

I've played Time Fcuk, never finished it, but I would GREATLY enjoy seeing you play it, raocow, what are you saying?

Frankly I can't think of any Inde games that would make for great LPs (I refuse to use the second "i" in Inde because frankly it's plain homosexual).

There are a few underplayed SNES games that are really good though. Like Cybertron or Pilotwings.

That being said I'll go back to what I always say in these threads, raocow playing DOOM would be absolutely hilarious to watch.

Did you seriously bring up pilotwings? *Shudders* That game is difficult.

One time, I heard about this game, I think it's a hack, of LoZ:LttP, called parallel worlds. Supposed to be harder than regular Link to the Past, and I've personally only seen a speedrun of it, so would this classify as "over-LPed?"

*edit* just searched it....saw at LEAST 6 LPs, including speed run, so scratch that. =p

Sexy Hiking...Seriously...it's....wacky.
And not sexual AT ALL.
Yume-Nikki, scary as shiiiiiiiii*.
A game with a kitty, it's cute, and you like cats.
Glum Buster, it's kinda creepy and kinda environmental, and kinda really fun.

But my number one suggestion of all is......
ACTION FIST!
"First he stole my favorite scarf;
Then he stole my dog;
Then he took my girlfriend.
And no one,
I repeat: NO ONE;
STEALS MY FAVORITE SCARF!"
(Paraphrasing)
It's a great game much akin to Metal Slug, but with an awesome sense of humor.
I think you would like it.
It's really quite fun.

I've never even heard of Time Fcuk. But I haven't been on newgrounds for a very long time. You should definitely play from what the 3 people just said. But is that game long or would just be for a random week? I think you should do a random week and within a deep forest.

Time Kfcu would be cool for an LP i guess.
I could say a bunch of other indie games but paste is doing/has done them so yeah.

PS you should get Hisoutensoku it's cool and adds sanae and (9) and adds some more spells and moves and stuff.

I actually went down to the few suggestions I never looked at in the suggestion forums, marikagi looked interesting, in a 'this will be a repeat of mariari isn't it' kind of way, but downloading that game seems impossible so oh well.

I would definetly suggest Braid. The game is beautiful and challenging, but not over lp'ed.

Aladar wrote:hey guy, I signed up literally just to ask- you haven't just tried force-windowing Obake with d3d windower have you?

unless there's some weird incompatibility with it and your recording software I'd think it would work.
There's also a program called 3D Analyze that can force Windowed Mode, and I used that to record a fullscreen program with HyperCam, so it should work with whatever you're using.

(Hey raocow, if you like playing as pressure type characters in fighters, Sakuya (Crazy Knife Lady) or Aya (Crazy Fan Lady) would be quite good for you, but seen as you're learning the game that's not really worth a mention :3c)

Anyway, I dunno if it'd be okay, because it's basically a Mario game but not. But how about Super Marisa Land (Not world). It plays more like Super Mario Land than Super Mario Bros 3/World. But I'm not sure how your stance on it would be seen as it's Japanese and Mario but not it's Touhous instead. However, what little I have played of the game (7 stages HURR) most of it isn't Japanese, and there's no dialogue from what I can tell. (It's also made by the same guys as SWR!)

EDIT: Oooo, how about MegaMari :V

There is also a downloadable version, since you said you couldn't save with newgrounds, on the game maker site. http://www.yoyogames.com/games/27431-karoshi

Note: Only bother playing this if your ok with blood.

I'm going to chip in and suggest Iji along with the the guy on Page 1 that suggested it as well.

If not Iji though, any of Remar's games would be cool. I highly encourage you to check them out.

Hello Thread. Anyways i recommend Skyblazer for the SNES since that game is super legit yet no one has even heard of it. This video here shows the opening stage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R6Hb7cWBXE

Hey there thread, I am saying hello to youuu!

I thought about suggesting Spelunky, since you didn't do this game justice when you played it, and also since it was version 0.9something then, and it's 1.1 now I think... But I'm not even sure how to LP this. I tried to find any other cool lesser-known indie games lately, but the only ones I could find were very short, Random Week-worthy, but not for a full LP...

I see that caracc mentioned Doom... This is just so silly a suggestion that it might just work.

Also, any non-SMW romhack would be cool, but I don't know too many of those, and I wouldn't even dare suggesting any Super Metroid hack... So I guess I don't have any valuable input :|

Unfair Platformer. I can't think of anything that would be funnier other than Mario.

What is this I don't even..

But being serious now, raocow said in the video he uploaded that anything above 16 bit games/simple indy games he can't do much, and he would need a capture card and a 360, etc..

So I really hope your just tired or that was a joke. If not.. *facepalm*

EDIT 9:23 AM EST - Since I don't have any more input to give and I'm kinda just being a bit of a jerk to the newish peeps, I'm going to go now. ^^;
