A site I referenced real quick says its cloud saving status is unknown, but it should be incredibly easy to port your save data over or get a save file even if it doesn't carry over. If it's like every other official Touhou game ever made, all save data is contained in a single file (simply titled save.dat), and copying that over into the game folder should re-unlock everything.

Given how rough moments of Death Wish have been in A Hat in Time, maybe you could repair some of the enjoyment of the game by doing a future run through the various officially curated level mods from the Challenge Roads? Mods are *hyper* easy to load, and there's a singular mod that'll allow you to select any of the previous Challenge Roads that had happened before, and still have their prize trophies marked on your save file to track how many you got. There's probably enough nonsense and occasional gauntlets to provide hijinx, while not being themed around making existing levels wacky go bonkers, and they'd be genuine new level layouts, occasional boss fights, etc.

Downsides are that there ARE some level repeats(a possible worst case is a seven level gauntlet where each one is a different color, pulling from previous ones) and that there IS a form of lives system ala some of the Death Wishes(no time penalty, but it is still 3 lives to beat the gauntlet). Still, I feel like more playing through levels again that aren't tied to either Weird Hard Mode Hijinx or Cool Rift But Where's My Comic Books worries could be a great LP, and the Challenge Road provides a bit of "official"ness to it, even if you have the occasional random boss taken from Team Fortress 2.

(Alternatively, there is a more general "Featured" mods tab for levels and for general mods, maybe you can just load up the whole batch and start fighting against Toilet Boss EX with Cappy from Mario Odyssey while dressed as a bee and riding your Rumbi roomba)

(Alternatively alternatively, just download every mod featured inside the Challenge Road and play them one at a time with no repeats, but that doesn't feature any holes to fill with challenge road trophies...)
