But in the past, when I objected to playing hacks from awful people, I was mostly talked down to and nobody agreed with me at all. Any line you think might be crossed by this 4chan hack has already been crossed before. And I'm not saying this to say that things shouldn't have been played in the past. Just that it's arbitrary to be suddenly objecting right now just because 4chan is more infamous. The talkhaus is, unfortunately, not a haven entirely disconnected from places like that.

My main concern about playing a 4chan hack would be a potential scenario where some of them check out the playthrough, hang out for a bit, eventually get moderated for saying something shitty, and we end up with a brigade situation.

i dont think that /v/orld or /v/orld 2 should really be that supported. even if the "final" product is sanitized, the development of each hack feels so ugly. i remember seeing the earlier versions of /v/orld 2 that had liberal use of the r slur, the f slur, antisemetic imagery, and overall that edgy 4chan vibe. while unseen, some of the code in the game is riddled with n words in the asm files, and its being predominantly played by... edgier folks on the ol' twitch.

in its stead, i'd actually recommend checking out the chocolate level design contest 2020. not to shill my own contest i ran, but it had by far the most creative and interesting entries of any cldc so far. i will admit some of the entries are a bit hard (probably because the three judges were me, morsel, and mrdeepay) but i still had a complete blast judging. even the less than par levels still had a unique vibe. i'd also be more than happy to provide a

Also I've been thinking about this lately and, even though it's probably been suggested 24601 times behind the scenes/in the Patreon Discord/in various other places I don't have access to, I'm going to vomit it out here anyway: I'd love to see a least one 3D Metroid get LPed, assuming All the Metroids isn't on the docket when All the Sonics ends sometime approximately five years before the heat death of the universe.

Also also have Murder by Numbers as a more light-hearted suggestion if you ever wanted all of your followers to scream at past raocow while he plays Picross Wright for twenty minutes at a time. The VN aspect is genuinely cute and funny and actually feels like you're watching and listening to adults do various dysfunctional adult things.
