Inspired by [AOD]'s Let's Play of Super Mario World I decided to do a Let's Play of a game that I've never played before.

And that game is Megaman 1!

btw this is the first time I've ever played ANY Megaman game. In fact I've never completed a 2D platformer in my life... (except indy games)

oh, and one last thing, the sound and editing quality get a lot better around episode 3 in my opinion, so I dunno... maybe you wanna skip the pre episode 3 or something?

The only thing I'm going to say is that both vids could have been under that 11 minute range with editing. In fact, the first video was fine as one part.

As for the gameplay itself, nice job for a first attempt. I'd recommend either going after the one that's weak to Cut Man's weapon or going after Bomb Man. Also, I fear for your sanity if you can get past all six.

yeah, I was fighting with the video editor to get it to even work. Camtasia didn't like all the speeds ups and everything. it keeps ruining the sound sync and putting things that I don't want sped up sped up and in the end I could only get it to work when it was two videos despite the fact that it should of been short enough as one.

I'm gonna be way more ruthless with my video editing in the future. as opposed to speeding everything up I'll just cut most things out.

Now that performance was pretty fun to watch. You kept getting better and better during the duel with Ice Man. Just be careful. They can hit you after you beat them...and the game will pause for a bit during that time. It almost got you.

yeah, I would've got so pissed off if I got hit killed after I defeated him. I need to watch out for that in the future.

Not the best commentary today, not gonna lie. Today was the first time recording commentary with someone else in the house.

Why was I moving too much? When I was standing in the same place I kept dying. It was only after running after him that I won.
