How should new let's players drum up some support?

Post by Bleaghhh »

Hey guys, my names Bleaghhh, and I have recently started Let's Playing. At the moment i have about 11 subscribers, 3 of which i know in real life, and i usually get somewhere in the low teens for views.

I was wondering how you think I should go about getting some feedback from the public and getting known. I don't wanna be just another of those guys begging for views on popular channels!

Before anybody points it out, yes this is an attempt to get some new viewers, shoot me :P.

My channel is

just to let any interested parties know. =D

Thanks for any feedback people =)

Patience... lots and lots of patience.

If you are patient it'll come.

I'm trying the patience option right now, the patient and productive option, but i seem to be getting less views after the initial 20 odd on every video, and I'd like to show more people who I am.

Thnaks for the feedback.

You're still rushing. I rarely get 20 views on a video after a week, it sometimes takes months.

Make tons and tons of posts in your own thread, even if you don't have an update or no one's posted so far. This will bump it to the top of the forum and force people to look at it.

I'd say do games that aren't done too much or try to make them look as good as you can if they have been. I like taking that second approach since I know I'm not the best at playing games, but I do know that I will do my best in trying to show off everything I can about them.

Since you're doing Mario hacks from what I can see, don't get too discouraged if they don't get a ton of views. Those are basically played all the time, so eh. Look, if you're having fun and you can get a few people watching, that's all that really matters. That's how I started way back when a couple of years ago, and I'm basically doing the same thing now.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback and the checking out of my vids.

Yeah, i realise now that i was hoping for too much too fast but i'm having fun doing it and that's all that matters, I've got a few people watching regularly now, and I'm doing a demo that's not released yet so that might garner up some support =D
