Hi!

I recorded myself playing a game and said some words. If anyone is interested, here is Act 1 and 2 of Dynamite Headdy! From here on out I'm gonna upload one act per day, so in a bit over a week you'll find out if I beat the game or not!

I didn't realize the music was so loud when I recorded, sorry...it'll be like that in all 8 parts. But, I did painstakingly transcribe subtitles, so you can turn on captions if you're having trouble hearing me.

Don't let my attempt stop you of course. I'm expecting about 2 or 3 views to come of this thread, max. You're at least 10 times more popular than that with your 30ish viewcounts...there are at least 20 people who would be seeing it for the first time on your channel!

Thanks for the well wishes. The hardest part--actually playing and recording and talking and stuff--is done. I won't say if I won or game over'd--you'd have to watch and wait a week to find out--but I finished at any rate. Just need to edit and upload now. And maybe keep up with transcribing captions, though that was a huge pain in the ass today so maybe I won't.

So I didn't want to triple post yesterday for an update, but I did update the OP. Today, however, is different, because now there's been TWO updates since my last post. I read the rules on double posting, I believe this is fine, falls under the "I have something to add" clause.

Yesterday I uploaded Part 3, and today I made it through part 4! Only 4 more acts to go!

Never worry about posting to say you've updated. I'd go 10+ updates without a post if I did that!

Well in that case I'll do it for each update. We're nearing the end anyways, today is act 7 out of 9.

Part 5 was uploaded yesterday, but I got too busy to transcribe any captions. I may get to it today, but I do have a lot to do...

Part 6 has the same story--no captions yet. But it's there, and watchable!

And with Part 7, we're officially one act away from the end. Will I make it without resorting to save states and cheating? Time will tell!

(I may be late with the upload tomorrow. I may not even be able to upload at all, and have to wait until Sunday. It depends on a thing.)

And we're done! Here is the final part. Clocking in at almost half an hour, this part brings the final timespan of this LP to 1:57:09. Not too bad, considering it's in 8 parts.

I think I played well. I think if I played it now, I'd play even better...this was, as I mention repeatedly, my first time touching the game in about 4 years. Today, it'd be my first time touching the game in a week, and that makes a huge difference. But no, I give you what I made.

This may be it for me for a while. I wanted to do that, and it was fun, but I'm not gonna make a regular habit of this. Toodles!
