Nope unfortunately not. I would even dare to say that A2MT is way harder than the first game. Some of these levels are REALLY hard.

Noooot looking forward to those. I would hope peeps would know how to handle difficulty by now but eh, it's surprising to see some of the levels concepts people have done even in just the level contests. It's on an individual basis yeah but it's weird how much bad difficulty is present on haus projects.

Wasn't difficulty like one of the biggest complaints about ASMT? Especially the endgame from what I recall.

Being aggressive and swearing isn't going to get people to see your point it's just going to make them get defensive and dislike you.

Indeed just because Alex is a little shithead who thinks that he is way more superior than all of us in playing games it doesn't mean that A2MT is a very hard game.

I say, you will see it pretty soon. And once this project (as in LP project) is finished remember my words. I think that ASMBXT is easier than this (minus the postgame).

That said it IS a very good game, just a hard one.

(Also Alex I saw you playing Sonic 3, so you should shut up about judging the difficulty of games).

Some of us just want to see what exists of a2mt. Which happens to be alot. No reason to attack everything and everyone because there's terrible things in there. IT WAS CLEARLY STATED THAT IT'S TERRIBLE, WHY DO WE *choke* why is there why is what the I'm having an aneurysm (not saying we're not allowed to have opinions, just stating there's no need to be so damn disrespectful).

With that said, wow a "you must always be jumping" gimmick is really annoying.

E: I just played it an it's not bad at all.

The hot floor level was really cool. It makes me want to play along (I tried already but the first level -further over there- makes you wonder how many digits the death counter will use.)

raocow use a lives code (eg 7E0DBE04).

Limepie what even. You know I love your butt and all its squishiness but that level was really oddly terrible. And the MUSIC LOOP... Way too short and boring! And there seemed to be just a lot of player expectations that were way too out there.

As stated these are endgame levels but there's still a good way to put the difficulty.

I really really dug E-Man's level in comparison. It really showed how to make a really neat level with fairly simple enemies, and I think there were only three unique enemies in the whole thing (I consider the different direction thwomps to be the same entity)

A2MT is like a gigantic pile of gold inside a giant temple. You really want to take it all outside but it's just too much to handle so you take as much as you can carry but then all the traps inside the temple make you realise the gold's not worth it. I'm not good at metaphors.

Well, judging from the map, THUMP seems pretty mid-gamey and you need 2 secret exits to get to it so I guess it's fine difficulty wise. It does go on for way too long though. If the gimmick was just like the first two sections, dodge thwomps, get block, dodge more thwomps, hit switches, dodge more thwomps, it would be a much better level. Still good though.

Come on, it's not like somebody can't learn from mistakes haha. That's really the whole underlying point to the hack scene imo, to learn how to design levels and figure out what players like and don't like.

THUMP would have been fine without the two last sections. Except for the level being too long,I think it was a nice level. And yes there is a lot of thwomp levels in A2MT, I'm sure it's the most used enemies. Too many thwomps in this motherxxxxxxx romhack.

A bit later that midgame actually. The A2MT overworld is made that you have four different paths, all leads to a switch palace, where it was intended that you can access the final world when you got all four switch palaces.
To resume, the center of the main map is easy, the beach, the bottom left ,overworld B and start of ow D is medium and the bottom right, overworld A,C and D are hard, with the levels right before the switch palace can be very hard.
