Other sprite behaviours depending on location:
-Yoshi: displays message only on YI submap
-block snake: has different path on main map
-dry bones (bone throwing): only stays on ledges if you're in level 10D (Bowser's Castle)

The dry bones is checked twice, for some reason.

Oh man, what a way to ring in 50 A2MT vids: barely any commentary and a vid so short you had to hastily draw a Demo to make up for it! Somehow it's fitting.

Nah but seriously that part looked like it had an okay concept behind it, but it wasn't exactly designed with too much thought put into ways to make the concept interesting.

...Still fitting.

Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

The music and the fast moving blocks make the level feel tense.

The draw Demo video is kind of a helpful reference for other people that might want to draw her.

It's been too long ever since we had a drawcow, man.

This level actually looked super neat in my perspective. Just a shame SMW has the iteration time it has*, this level would've been a cool challenge if we went by a (for instance) Super Meat Boy respawn rate, because the obstacles weren't unreasonable, just very deadly and weird.

*Which also goes for a lot of other things

I feel that if Lightning Albina Demo gets made it should be a new powerup done with LundaDLL for a level in ep2 or 3 or something (and have the lightning go straight ahead?) not just a quick reskin to make a joke.

It wouldnt work well anyway since the mechanics of Demo/Iris fire/ice balls dont shoot straight and whatever you npc change the fireballs into via luna always shoot up/down.(or not move ie shells). changing the hammer works better, but again, no straight shots....
Sheath on the other hand...

That level had a nice tileset and there was some potential in the gimmick. Parts of it were very difficult but still learnable. Some mistakes were allowed as long as the player did not get crushed.

You can make them shoot straight though, just set their Y speed to 0

How close are we to being finished?

Seeing the drawing part today, I think a nice intermission between A2MT and the next game is to have a drawing video where you reflect back on the A2MT development process and what you and the community learned from it, and stuff.

Well there's not much to say about today's level I guess. Some precise jumps with layer movement happened, then a few more, then the level ended. I credit it for being a reasonable length though.

It's about a dozen levels on the ROM. There's some other other content that I'm not sure about, but even then I don't expect us reaching 20 more videos. That would put us around the 3/4th mark. raocow could also stretch it out ridiculously more than he has too.

Does something special happen if the player is too long on that first level? Both of them were nicely designed, and the twomph boss at the end was interesting. The cutscenes on the second level were fun.

That midpoint in the second level of today's video must have multiple ones, but something broke for them to have it continue to the last one upon death.

I don't think I mentioned it before, but I really like how some of the music distorts the death jingle. I mean, it legitimately sounds neat.

Also, I think it's pretty odd/coincidental how every other level raocow plays in the fishmarket ROM has Monty Moles. Like a conspiracy or something!

Is it appropriate that the song entitled "Sewage Castle" is used in so many levels? I dunno', but I think we've heard it more than what I suspected were the two "official" castle themes!

Finally, I enjoyed the tile priority at the very end of Thwomp Ahoy! and how it hides Demo during the level ending. A good alternative to watching her unprofessionally run against the side of the screen.

The Romancing Saga 3 lastboss theme has been in this hack so much it's lost all of its impact. The song is actually the reprise of several themes from the game, and you have to actually earn it by grinding for 20 hours or else you'll never make it to the bottom of the abyss to hear it. When it's just tossed into every other level its specialness is destroyed. Basically I'm saying a lot of these levels do a bad job of communicating their own message and I hope these people were planning to change music once they realized 3 other people were using Destroyer.mp3.
