I'm pretty sure it was already brought up that you can hit the cloud through the wall using the ice, so that was more just rao's oversight. Though I'm not sure how true that actually is, it's been a while since I've played YI, but I don't recall ice blasts being stopped by walls.

Also, that sped up fuzzy slowed down music was the best

I do feel some of the repeated backtracking - the chaining of icemelon and watermelon to lower the hill and freeze the cannon - really diminishes it, though.

Curious what was the deal with the empty room with the boss approaching music.
The emptiness combined with the eerie music but the cute visuals actually makes it a rather surreal room as a whole, and I like it.

One great thing Yoshi's Island has going for it is the crazy interaction between all the elements, today's submarine bonus level being a good example. The only other example I can think of right now is that one 'automaton' level rao played in a contest.

Well, I'm personally glad that this one's over (the magnificence that was the LANDSUB notwithstanding). The needlessly circuitous paths that the level seemed to require its players to take hurt me to watch.

I hacked in the voice controls from Hey You Pikachu and now the game is only playable with an N64 controller with Mic. You need to tell Yoshi how to move - be it left, right, duck, jump, tongue, or flutter.

Yes. Unabandoned in 2014 to be slightly repurposed for this LP.

(also, contrary to what is said in the video, there are five levels, not five worlds.)
