Everyone and their grandmother's dog changes the SMW music to Yoshi's Island music. What the fuck would they change the YI music to?

And basic mechanic reminder: You can use your head to break the dirt. You were wasting a lot of eggs here and there. Mostly there.

He also wastes a ton of eggs shooting taptaps when he could just lick them off ledges as well.

Without looking to see certain bits of context (I don't have the time to watch the video yet), it's quicker to use eggs to clear out clumps of dirt instead of using your head.

So, this hack looks like a thing. When raocow said it was a one-level hack, I was wondering if maybe it was going to be an open-ended "Metroidvania"-style game... but nope. It seems to be just an extra-long, unfocused standard YI-style stage with loads of stuff to find per section. Before it's all closed off because you progressed to the next section by taking a random path that didn't stand out in any real way from the various optional paths you'd been exploring, of course. Kind of a shame. Also, three lives for such a gigantic stage, and having to backtrack through so much every time you die? Something tells me this cunning plan wasn't thought out all the way through.

Well, as every level creator knows, more length equals better quality. Making a level take an hour is the best way to ensure player enjoyment.[/sarcasm]

On a side note, I can't figure out why there aren't extra lives hanging around. Sequent game overs are never fun.

But after you hit that one clump you still have to shoot an egg for the '?' floatin' thing. While if you just shoot an egg at it from the start you do both at the same time.

Wow this is one heck of a long Yoshi's Island level. This mini-LP is weird to me since I was first introduced to raocow with his New Yoshi's Island LP, specifically that one video of that one super long stage near the end, and now here he is doing a super long Yoshi's Island stage again. It's like full circle.

I appreciate King Tap-Tap sections that are really nice and manageable. Makes you notice how much of an interesting game-mechanic it actually is.

Also: Why did you bother redoing the submarine stage after your death? Aren't you still missing stuff in the very first section?
