I think we'll see more of that kind of thing later on. I don't believe we've seen any custom graphics at all, yet, and I know only a few of the levels used custom music. Basically, I think the kind of level you're talking about is lacking in all but one department, whereas what we've seen so far has more-or-less been lacking in all areas of level design.

Yes, that part I've understood but... Uhh... before the scores went into the rounding and tie breaking... How does 19,21,23 give a "final unrounded score" of 22.3333333333 when the average of those three numbers is 21.0000000. I don't mean to offend- I'm just a little confused at the "final unrounded score" numbers you have there Horikawa.

Man, rao, during Fluffy Sky Tunnel you were playin like an idiot. I guess I'm the observer and not the player, but the blue switch and yellow switch weren't impossible at all, and it wasn't hard to notice. If you take the level's gameplay and ignore how easy it is to break and the visual stuff, and pay attention to just the "what you're supposed to do", it's pretty ok.

So, trivia time.

1) I'm pretty sure I'd used two exit stars originally, and not one exit and one "Oh just keep going" star. I could be wrong, though.
2) Originally, what was the main exit was in the same room as the boom booms, and the secret exit was where the peach switch is now. I should have left the main exit where it originally was and put the secret exit where the main one is now.
3) Those pillars in the exit room? Yeah, they weren't there originally. It was supposed to be a one-way trip from the other direction using Peach, but I kept having trouble making that jump.
4) At one point, I had all of the character blocks at the midpoint, and there was a Mario block in the entrance room. I believe that was scrapped since you could only leave that area as Peach.

Arguing about the ratings this far down is just a parody of sensible discussion. I don't see why anyone should give a shit.

I, however, like parodies. Continue. I, personally, think that I should have been scored two or seventeen ranks higher. In fact, I should've won the contest. So... There.

For what it's worth, I think AUS' level is a good benchmark of zero fun and so should score lower than all levels that contain some fun and higher than all levels that contain negative amounts of fun. A better benchmark of zero fun would actually be the lowest ranked level but then it did lose points for not sticking to a name.

Is it really the penultimate in zero fun though? Sure, it's short and you don't do anything, but perhaps the humor of it existing even could count for some non-zero number of fun points. :D

I think that Aus Level should stay where its at and not be given zero points.
The level is a deconstruction of levels, because the player expects the level to contain a theme and a reward at the end. By including an empty level AUS laughs at the player for expecting anything more than a level and a star. Of which the player takes and moves On.

Nothing against the judges at all. Kudos to judging 134 levels in only a month actually, and in the grand scheme of things, who really cares whether you were last or 5th to last?
