About five years ago, I started uploading videos of me playing my own edit of SMB1 in the hopes that someone would be interested in playing it. Only one person actually emailed me to get a copy of the .nes file. Man, I was so naive.
Anyway, I finally got around to finishing showcasing my (lack of) talents so you can all point and laugh at how long this took me.

You may want to grab a patcher program, and your base ROM, to build a proper IPS patch.
Rom-linking is a no-no around here.
I recommend LunarIPS.

Need to be boosting your mic volume and lowering the game volume there ol' Maiku. Things are pretty muddled in their current state.
It might even just be a symptom of the muttering. Need to speak up more, and more confidently. If you find yourself muttering on this kind of an LP you may want to consider practicing what you're going to do beforehand (Playing the game through once just on your own on a separate save) or perhaps doing post commentary.

Gotta tell you, Bwarch, that these videos were recorded in a single session, late at night. I didn't realize the mic was so low during the recording until after the fact. I decided to upload these anyway because of my self-deprecating nature.

Fair enough, but in that case its a good idea to start recording on two tracks, get some software that can if you don't already have some. System audio on one track and mic on the other. Makes it to where you can brings things up in post if you need to.
