Wasn't the music in the "Himalayas" level a remix of the actual DuckTales theme? Surely the hack maker must have expected players to have made the connection by then.
I think the "go back to the second level! (or run over the ceiling, that works too)" joke at the start of the "African Mines" level likewise suggests the hack maker expected players to "get" the hack's overall "joke."

Incidentally, that makes me wonder about kids these days and what they do on rainy days. They've got television and the internet to keep them distracted. Do they just hop on their iPhones and chat with friends? Would they perhaps find rainy entertainment in playing Cat Poke? Instead of seeking out and poking their own cats?

Hey there raocow, this is everyone. I actually went and played this game, it took very little time now that you took all this time to spade everything. I'd like to tell you three things.
1. Read the readme! The keybindings are described in there.
2. There IS something in the attic. A platforming segment and a secret. You can go find it if you want to satisfy your own curiosity!
3. You're told the rain stopped when you go out to the corridor after poking all the cats, so that's a good hint there's an ending...

Kid's Adventure 2 really just raised a lot of questions without providing any answers.
