Oh man, I loved Mega Mari. Never actually beat it, but it was a real blast.

As for difficulty, think MM2's Hard Mode, but with the difficulty coming from having to dodge danmaku instead of the damage thing. So yeah, have fun.

Having pretty much finished writing my PhD thesis, I will now try to play games almost everyday, mostly Touhou/shmup stuff and Distorted Travesty. I do pretty much everything with Youtube livestreams now, because it's really, really convenient! Try to catch me live sometime :)

And it seems my little trick for bypassing the forced integration only works for commenting on live streams. After the stream is over, I'm blocked again, but eh, I never comment on anything else.

Also Jeremy lies, Neo Guardian is no thing even on the harder difficulties. Any boss that is ever weak to earth after Fright Train is easily trivialized with Stun beaded Rupture+Wave of Awesome.

About a week or so ago (Probably much longer, I'm bad with time) news sites were reporting on how the creative mind behind G+ had left the company and about how this totally meant that G+ would stop forcing integration as a priority.

As well, the G+ team was downsized and it was emphasized that it would not be concentrated on across all Google platforms now.

But this was a while ago and we've had a Youtube update since that did not do away with G+ integration.

Figured, I saw those. Most news sites ran away with it and spread that exact rumor, then Google execs quickly added the addendum that his departure had "no impact on [their] Google+ strategy."

So, news sites spreading rumors to generate clicks, and Google being evil. Status quo as usual.
