Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
can someone tell me why smw returns has bad reviews on smwcentral?

Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
I wouldn't say that SMWR is THAT bad as they review it, I mean, Kaos Islands is worse and is featured!

I so called it that the long yellow pipe would be the one you need. I chuckled when I turned out to be right.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
I love the comments on today's (SMWR2-13) video.

Watching that guy trying to attack raocow is pretty... interesting. lolKles wrote:I love the comments on today's (SMWR2-13) video.

Well, Doomsberg apparently takes it a little too serious.KF91 wrote:Watching that guy trying to attack raocow is pretty... interesting. lolKles wrote:I love the comments on today's (SMWR2-13) video.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
raocow, did you at least block the little tard? Seriously, he seems like the most annoying person ever. If he is so offended, why does he even watch your videos?
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
Oh freakin' god Jesus hell.
I wish I could read those comments the guy left. I'm curious! ... I'm also curious about exactly how religious raocow actually is. I got the feeling that he might be from the fact that he says "lordy". (Protip: Nobody else ever says "lordy".) But then he also uses god and Jesus in curses a lot and... stuff?

Ah, I know what you're talking about. I'm from the German "Ruhr Area"... I'm a mild-mannered guy, but when you're from a place that uses "Scheiß-" as a legitimate prefix, it rubs off. ^^;

Space Station Silicon Valley was the shit. I loved that game.
Also, Peewee Herman reference out of the blue.

I always get a kick out of reading Youtube arguments by people who take the internet way too seriously.

Well, I'll give KT some props. That fuzzy generator was a very nice idea. Hopefully the nice ideas will continue throughout the rest of this game.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
Yeah, I always saw fuzzies as an underappreciated enemy in the SMW hacking world. Glad KT used them in a more difficult and creative way.

I guess that means I'm not the only one who's worried about geometry taking its revenge.
Also, I love how 2 of the top related videos are Elton John :D

Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
I think what you where supposed to do is jump when the blizzard starts. That way you're at the top of your jump where the platform is. But the whole gimmick is just terrible so I don't mind you did it some other way.

I love how well those "no feather" signs work. You just walked right past it...with a cape.

Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
Oh no! The return of the evil blizzard! Seriously, glitching a wall to move on is an absolutely horrible level designing idea.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
I like the idea, but it could have done with some graphical indication to show where you have to do something.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
Was that level playtested at all? Required glitch exploitation is bad enough, but it's a WHOLE new stage of lame when the gimmick randomly kills you.
Re: Super Mario World Returns - No Tools!
It's explained in the messageboxCrimson wrote:I like the idea, but it could have done with some graphical indication to show where you have to do something.
