I'm curious what he's saying about my (trash heap) level design.

edit: He doesn't know about up fire does he?

edit2: I believe he just compared my level design to that of Hyper. Makes sense since that last level of Hyper V was the inspiration for mostly worse.

Man, there really should've been a sign talking about up fire. Hopefully Ryuu sees the comments about such before the next video.

(Considering that one of the commenters claimed that both Glazed Donut Dungeon and the next level are absolutely brutal, there'd be plenty of time between videos for that.)

I certainly took upfire for granted.

Hey otane could you somehow get in contact with Ryuu and tell him that firing up is a thing? XD

Is anyone crazy enough to try and subtitle these videos?

I'm learning Japanese, and I am a crazy MF--if I feel confident someday, I will come back and try. My current level isn't good enough, though.

EDIT: It's sad that some of his videos have been taken down. I came back to this thread today because I never started watching--but now I feel like my Japanese is good enough that won't be completely lost. Gah

Watching a nico video before everyone's started commenting on it sure is a surreal feeling.

Anyway, Ryuu's finally made it to the library! I bet when he next plays he'll get a kick out of the rest of the books there, especially the one about the ABCDs.

Jeez, he made the same "mistake' as raocow and not only got the main goal first, but also went into the midpoint pipe first! Good thing my conveyance super sucked! Horikawa, may I have a translated summary of the last two episodes or will I have to learn Japanese? I probably should anyway...

sorry horikawa but as our resident japanese expert we expect nothing less of a full transcript. This goes for his future playthrough of the library too.

I still don't know if he was disappointed in me or not for my level. T_T

Aw, he didn't read out the first level in english like he usually does. :o I love how much trouble he had with the level tho, a bit of funny editing in there too. ^^

Course I wonder why he didn't bring a second springboard so he wouldn't need to tank a hit.

So I realize this comment is a few months past the point of relevance, but is there anything preventing Ryuu from making a Youtube account and mirroring his newer uploads there, just as a precaution in case anything unfortunate happens?

I understand that Nico is much more popular in Japan, and I'm not suggesting that he switch video sites completely or anything drastic like that, but after the mess a few months ago having a Plan B just seems like the pragmatic thing to do.

Oh man it's my level's turn.

When ASMBXT came out I had yet to have played any of the Souls series, watching Ryuu do Demo's Souls, I have a much higher appreciation of the level now.

Questionable Content is still a really fun looking level. The timing with the shells after the midpoint was pretty amazing. The running level was fun too. It also made for a great video thumbnail.

Next episode is up. We are now entering the factory.

Edit: This level looks a lot harder than I remembered.
