The music was very discordant in the beginning of the video due to the theme itself and editing. And would people stop acting like raocow is winning wrong. Finding unintended solutions is often the best way to defeat a sadistic puzzle master.

That's what I did, but I didn't realize until now that you can actually destroy the bricks to let the kedama go. If you do blaze ahead of the kedamas then you're going to get an S rather easily.

I'm kinda surprised raocow backed off after that nail-biter run where he figured out he needed to beat the furballs down the stage. The vibe was totally different in that cut and it felt like he had something good going that he himself felt. So much more energy and you could really see how differently and more fun the level plays. It all came through in he video.

It's just a masocore style get good enough at the stage to be faster than the red guys. My favorite kind of platforming tbh, at least when death doesn't matter, which it doesn't here (when you're running ahead of the fuzzies, the entire stage is very short, like 45 seconds).

I dunno! I felt it click. That run where raocow tried to outrun them. It felt right and I thought he had it. Really surprising to see him discount that as an option after only a few attempts (that we saw at least), when the entire stage feels designed for it.

It's not so much that I gave up on the idea, but that once I had 'flubbed' a thing I returned to 'plan b' for that run,and it ended up being the winning run.

Well... I left a video response thingy for approval of an excerpt from my stream a short while back of that stage. Cause I managed to glitch through the floor in it and it was hilarious :P

I did the whole outrunning the fuzzies thing, and in the end managed it fairly well. It's a loooot of buttons to get in the right order though, especially since I kept accidentally hitting call and switch too close together and forcing restarts!

Fun level though.

Quick helpful mechanics reminder! Not sure if you've forgotten or just prefer the other option, but I haven't seen you use the view map feature since the first video. It's actually a different thing than the little graphical representation map you were referencing in today's episode. If you pause and select "View Map" you can view the stage similar to how you did in the first Mariari to get a much clearer idea of what's going on and what's to come. The smaller map you've been using is a bit harder to understand (at least for me!), so the other option is definitely more helpful in times to come (and times gone by).

You're also already in that mode when you first enter the stage. If you pretty up or down before you press action, it lets you scroll the map around as well.

Good episode! 5-6 especially was pretty fun to watch.

Hahaha well fought! One of my favorite stages definitely.

You probably learned more about that stage than I ever will, but I did definitely go over the shattering blocks which I think was what resulted in a much faster and therefore easier time.

My genre-savviness tells me that there's going to be a floor after this that requires all of the books, and it's soul crushingly difficult. This may or may not have been confirmed or denied by people who have played the game.

If I remember correctly, the original mariari world 6 was quite without difficulty. I liked aspect of death being able to visual attack in a danmaku-like manner. Comparing it to the original mariari, it's first danmaku level came at the latter end of world 7.
