Great job to all those who worked on making this hack possible. Seems really awesome so far, and I can't wait to see it pick up in difficulty.
I personally loved the text heavy intro. Even in a super mario ROM, having a nice storyline to build off of improves the overall feel of the hack itself immensely. I can understand the feeling of those who thought it was a bit text intensive, but to those people I must say: simply adapt to this grade of awesomeness.
I no don't not be lurking no more.

The P-switch sound effects are very nice. Nothing beats "Yesterday", however.

I hate to be the one to say it but I didn't like the P Switch music at least compared to what I thought it was going to be originally. Spoiler for what I thought it was going to be originally even though I remember raocow posting a comment on Youtube about it I think.

This was going to be the POW music.
We were actually planning on making it level specific but time.
Although I could see a new version of the patch being made for ASMT 2 if it ever really does happen.
Also raocow - Be sure to film your first gameover even if you're not filming try and immediately press the record button if your about to get to it.

Man, that would've been cool, actually.
Well, the music now is pretty great too, though.

Uh, chdata, your spoiler tag didn't work. Not sure if you want to fix it, since it doesn't really give anything away by itself, but... Just letting you know. (...in pretty much the absolute least efficient way conceivable.)

Check your PM's.
As a note, I think this is the most mortifying, vilest thing I've ever forced myself to draw, and that is no lie. I hate you for bringing it up and myself for drawing it. I literally started to cry as I inked this. Now to wipe this from my hard drive...

Wait, what.
Wait, what.
WAIT, WHAT.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
...er. "Pix or it didn't happen?" >_>
Also: I am RAGING. I have no right to demand free games or free video entertainments, but this does not stop me from absolutely
loathing being forced to choose between keeping myself blind for my eventual playing of ASMT for my own fun, or giving up my daily dose of raocow (With added awesome!). That's been going on a lot lately with all this "not released until the LP is done with" shenanigans and I
hate it every time. I mean, it'd suck to have Youtube inundated with about a hundred LPs of ASMT, but at the same time I love playing hacks a few stages in front of raocow so I'm blind for it when I play, and I get to go :D TOMORROW'S VIDEO IS GOING TO BE AWEOSME.
tl;dr unreleased hacks make for ragey mew.

Well considering I disabled BB code on purpose that's good.
fyi raocow already knows what the star music is, and its even in his hack.
Sorry if I sound mean.

If spoilers were knives that jumped out of the monitor and punctured your eyes I would... well I don't know what I'd be doing... that isn't a hypothetical situation I'm prepared to consider...
But the wait for the next video is horrible right now. XD

I'm not sure I'd tempt fate again, Mew. (Though, I half-think AOD and Kiniko are just trying to fool us/raocow. AOD wouldn't really draw it... would he?)
I'm kind of hoping we're going to have the Japanese difficulty curve here, too. Rao's knocking down the levels pretty quickly, even for World 1. I want this thing to last.

But he did play relatively good. I was sure he would die in the kill room in level 2. I know I did with those shells coming at you while a charlie stands in front of your only way out.

I don't remember that... Even if you did, there's nothing to be regretting.
It's always good to try to make people improve.

You know, the Worms' Cave has one of the rare moments where bridge building actually is a challenge and fun at the same time.
Fun fact: the very first time I tested this level back in the summer I got through that part without getting hit. Every single time after that I had to have a power up if I wanted to continue.. So you better not play that level again raocow, it is cursed. Cursed I tell ya!!

What... what if it is you yourself that is cursed? :o
And I'm going to have to wait until I get back for lunch to watch the new video... I'm so very sad.

On the subject of ASMT recreating the "VIP atmosphere", I kind of almost hope that there's a level analogous to Poison Gas from VIP 2/Silent Death Gas from VIP 3 somewhere.
...That makes me a terrible person, doesn't it? :(
