And we go from an absolutely breathtaking boss to one of the worst levels I've ever seen. Well, I guess that happens when you have a collab hack.

Well, that's your oppinion and thus totally accepted. However, I personally liked the stage.. its problem was the lack of midway points. I guess it might be wise to put one or two additional midway points in this stage for a public release later on. :) What ya think?

It's an alright level, it isn't one I'd want to play "again," and I'm kind of disappointed that it took two videos to do as it is pretty annoying, but hey, whatever

1.) There was a midpoint in the level. The breaker for the level that it was more "annoying and tedious" than "hard, but challenging."
2.) Multiple midpoints is by no means an easy task to implement, to be honest.
The level needed to allow more room for error while still being a challenge.

On the issue of allowing more room for error it's a slightly tricksy thing, since you can't only make it slightly easier. Making it easier involves taking out or putting in whole tiles, and one tile is the difference between 'overly hard' and 'overly easy' rather than 'overly hard' and 'fair'. Since this was a world 6 level I decided I should go for 'overly hard' otherwise there would have been no challenge whatsoever.
Of course the flip side to that is that if you can't modify it then making entirely new puzzles and obstacles that are fair might work.

That was...long. I know the recurring message blocks were the gimmick, but considering how long the level was, maybe a few less message boxes would be a good thing. Just every once in a while, to remind you that you're searching for someone who needs help (as opposed to that one section with the P switch.) However, the second part was pretty humorous, with the idea that Cirno kidnapped a baby Yoshi and all. And the environment was pretty nice too, although it got in the way of the actual level quite a bit. Many of the passageways (especially near the end) seemed really cluttered and difficult to navigate, and it didn't help that the spinies were wandering around too... Still, it didn't really seem that bad, just overly annoying at times. And really long.

What an....odd mix of gimmicks.
Also shouldn't the amulets have been stars, to complete the Super Marisa World parralels

Well it wasn't so much a super marisa world parallel, but a touhou parallel, so coins are the blue...thingies you collect to obtain lives in touhou games, the p-switches are the things you collect to get bombs, the mushrooms are the things you collect to increase your shot power, and the fireflower is the thing you get after losing a credit to put your power to maximum.

I liked the level....but man was it annoying!!! The gimmick was funny the first ten times, but the next 1000 times...well okay I gotta admit it was still pretty funny!

I totally understand if you do no like this game. That's your honest oppinion and thus your right. However, I don't agree with the way you wrote this comment. Thus I assume that you're just spamming this thread. Please don't do this again, ok?

I think I prefer prsnth's six tracks over Kil's upcoming map tracks though. Maybe I'm just not fond of his style or something, I don't know.
Loved that Rumia battle music though, even though I could barely hear it.

An Echoing Call looked really nice and the music was great too. However, like most people are saying, the place looked like it got annoying after a while. The length of the level, in my opinion, should have tried to have two midpoints so at least it was a little bit easier. The message boxes, though being a gimmick, also got a little old and annoying after a while. Could have used less. I felt a little sorry for raocow cause some of that just looked crazy. Then again, I suppose the difficulty suits it after all, but still had an overused gimmick, which made it seem harder. I don't mean to sound harsh, but, other than the graphics and music this level I wasn't very fond of, which is quite rare.

Wow, how did I know after watching today's video that Blinx was going to post in this thread.
Also: prsnth, that is some awesome overworld music there.

That level was, like...Dark Depths-length. I once did a so-called "speedrun" of Dark Depths, finishing in about 16 minutes (although there was probably large room for error). raocow wasn't exactly rushing through the level, but given how many tries some of those maneuvers would take even if you were trying to do it as fast as possible...almost 20 minutes? Holy [noun].
As always, I can't wait to see what's next!

I am so lost.
Then again the only Touhou game I can get past like the second stage on is Touhou 9 Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

I may be a bit late, but today's level was my favorite to watch so far besides the world two castle (catfish egg). I'm not too sure I would want to play it myself, but damn was it fun to watch.
