A-ha! I still remember that mysterious up from way back in Survivor's campaign!

So it would have led to the Bitter Aerie ... but it has the same citizen ID gate as to Pebbles' Metropolis, so even if that impossible jump were possible, it would not have gone far. The other entrance would hypothetically work, but I don't see any of the other slugcats so far making the dive to it (nor the dive through the heart, for that matter).

Rivulet's campaign was really cool. While it felt a bit odd that it didn't naturally lead you to a lot of the water areas in the basic campaign (no Pipeyard, barely the deeper parts of Shoreline), the Pebbles segments were massively different, and the Submerged Superstructure was a massive, interesting, new area. Despite very powerful abilities, similarly to Artificer, most of the campaign therefore felt fresh (even if nothing much came of the short cycle thing).

I know it's been mentioned before, but what's the planned order for Hunter and Spearmaster?

Would you rather fight 100 pikmin sized spearmasters or one spearmaster sized pikmin?

Spearmaster is like Monk in that it's a slugcat with a lower than default weight value. This mostly doesn't change much, but it does means that certain critters, like the lampreys, have an easier time overpowering it.

It's kind of an odd change. I get that the devs made it to represent how Spearmaster doesn't really "eat," but weight value effects so few things that it really feels arbitrary on the rare occasion that it does make something be more dangerous.

to be fair, the big blue leeches are also just bastards. like three of them is enough to drown any slugcat and even one of them significantly impedes your movement. they're HUGE compared to the red leeches, it takes like 4 of those to even slow you down and like 6-7 to drown you
