A rare Nonsense three room video, I'm surprised at how well everything went, even without taking savestates into consideration, it feels like it was easier overall. Not a complaint, these were great rooms.

jipples' looks very jump 1-ish so i dont fucks with it but the level design looks funny enough that it makes up for it

Particularly loved the ice rod gauntlet, that is a genuinely neat idea and I kinda wanna see a paired gimmick with a fire rod for thawing out hazardous stuff. That last segment though, my gosh. How did you pull that off?


Miraclewater's tracking megaspike feeling a lot like what if Iggy Castle's enormous stompy loaf of bread got some exercise, and was a lot thinner and more athletic, and I kinda love it. I wanna see what else can be done with that.

That rainbow room looked so pretty, it's cool too, all these rooms are cool. Rainbow zone might be my favorite due to the emphasis on avoiding obstacles, but the spike room is a huge contender too, it's a great idea.

Yeah... What is up with all these two-tile high gaps in this hack...? Like, I feel that at best they'd feel too similar, since you can't really combine them well with other design elements, therefore getting stale quickly. Meanwhile, at worst they teach you the wrong lesson and become inconsistent.

I really liked the rainbow room yesterday, but I think I'm just a pretty big fan of Jolpe's design style in general.

Miraclewater once again with a real neat idea, my gosh... Really need to stay on your toes (and by that I mean immediately right back off them again), and that boom boom at the end... Yikes. An interesting idea. But it breaks the No Boss stipulation from the first room of Senseless, so it's disqualified. But for real tho, genuinely neat, would love to see what a less terrifyingly demanding level might look like :D

Kevin's Red Sun Over Paradise, Guest Starring Blue Sun was also pretty fun and chaotic. Testing out spinjumps after being directly told, in full caps, in no uncertain terms, DONT TOUCH THEM, was pretty amusing. The nonsense aquarium was also pretty funny. You got my thumbs up, Kevin.

And yeah the nut platforms fucking suck, but I'm still glad a friend managed to get someone to fix that shit to work on SA-1 roms, assuming it's Romi's sprite, they make me feel devious. I have a huge hardon for Mario airship levels and idk why, I was honestly brainrotting over the really bad "clear weather but waves are high" airship level from VIP2 World 5(?) that sucks to play yesterday.

Maybe I'll make an airship level today, For Fun, definitely one of my favorite genders (i hate making mario levels though but i need to unlearn that)

The amount of stuff on screen plus the precise platforming is really impressive, it's always fascinating to just look at this footage, even with savestates, it kinda keeps you on the edge of your seat. Then we get a philosophical talk about art and videogames at the end, beautiful.
