I just played through this game myself and I'd second a request on this. As mentioned, raocow might want to skip the cutscenes to keep it family friendly, but I think I saw on like a tumblr ask raocow mentioned he really liked Super Meat Boy, and this game kinda isolated the things I loved about SMB but made it even tighter.
Also that ain't just no protagonist, that's Rich Evans!

It's been a long wait, but A Hat in Time has finally been released.

It would be cool to see him take on the Donkey Kong Country trilogy

At the very least DKC2 and 3 would be good. DKC has its issues since it's the first game in the series.

Funnily enough, I prefer DKC1. My main reason is because the bonus rooms actually feel like bonus room, as opposed to side missions in the other 2 games.

This game is REALLY good, btw.

If you need any convincing, just imagine if you took Super Mario Sunshine's style of platforming/collectathon gameplay, and mixed with some of Psychonauts style of cartoon humor (but with a more cutesy, modest charm to it rather than the serious tone Psychonauts was going for).

I think the only reason this game isn't blowing up in popularity is because it's overshadowed by Cuphead and Super Mario Odyssey both coming out around the same time as it.

(Direct ZIP Link) Very recently, Atlus released a short freeware Metroidvania starring Jack Frost and Jack O Lantern.

While I'm sure there'll be a fan English translation at some point, the game is supposedly being removed around Christmas.

If you have any interest in playing it, you should probably get it before then, at which point it'll probably be harder to find!

Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel, the sequel to the original Rosenkreuzstilette, finally got released on Steam today. This implies that the game is at last translated to English.

I just read about the Super Spice World romhack today. Here is the link to the article: https://gonintendo.com/stories/293209-r ... into-a-spi

Apparently not only is a Spice Girls themed romhack but also an ARG with tons of hidden codes and puzzles. I think it would be both hilarious and interesting to see Raocow try this one out!
