Thanks for the thorough reply. Did he say what exactly he wanted? Normal charlie frames? KC flying around the room tossing baseballs and eating tuna sandwiches?

Edit: Also, I think the time is ripe for voting on yoshi NPCs.

Last thing I heard is that it had 3 phases or something:

-Normal Charlie style (maybe with all abilities, I don't know anymore)
-Heavy Press Boss
-something else

And I think KC should look more confident. He is confident after all.
But the sad thing might work for the cutscene after you defeat him.

He starts out in the heavy press which has a window on the front. I'll try and get those sprites so you can do a version for that. Then he acts like a souped up normal charlie, so we need graphics to correspond with all the charlie frames. Finally he chases Demo down a narrow corridor as an escape sequence, which will just need the charging frames. Looks great so far by the way.

Or just the yellow blocks with a brown palette? So including the question mark. Except it isn't moving anymore.

Or would that be to confusing?

Top left also. However I'm not quite satisfied with the look. Maybe because the eyes are too high, leaving too much blank space?

-Heavy Press Boss
I think YCZ already drew that.

-Something Else
I think YCZ was planning on some mode 7 shenanigans, so I think whatever this is it'd have to be drawn in 8 bp using Tile Molester instead of YY CHR.

Although I might still prefer the used question mark block depending on how it'll look

Er... no. Let's stick with the eye-version of the used block.

Hey YCZ, still doing this?

edit: quote?
edit 2: quote!

Also are the gfx for Terry's demo even finished? I remember hearing things like the castle destructions aren't finished. And Terry hardly seems to post here much anymore.

I always assumed argumentable was being sarcastic, it's hard to tell.

And yes Terry's Demo is unfinished as far as the castle destruction sequences go.

Well the easiest option would be to ask him to complete it.

I dunno, will all the cutscenes and stuff work whatsoever for a vanilla version? There'd probably be bugs too.
