Before inserting something into your level, be it Map16 tiles, custom sprites, or custom blocks, please check this thread so that it won't conflict with anything already inserted, and post to inform people that you are claiming a sprite/block/Map16 tile number.

Your ghost house spike is the glitched tile right above the green goal point tile. Don't worry, it looks like it should in the ghost house tileset.

First of all, can I use the top 3 rows of map16 page D please?
Second of all, may I use sprite slot 11 for a sprite i've made, which I will send to you with my level?
Third of all, will there be Maverick Thwomps included? I'm just wondering, as if they are, then I can use them in my level. If not, then don't worry about inserting them, it's not a necessary thing.

Yes, yes, and yes. Although there are no sideways Thwomps in any of the levels yet, it is not as if it is hard to insert custom sprites...

Well just for reference on how much space there is

00-BF are for standard sprites
C0-CF are for shooters
D0-DF are for enerators

We aren't even close to having too many "standard" sprites

Are there thwomps that start on the ground and smash upwards, instead of starting up and smashing downwards? i just thought of a little pattern you could do with that and other things. Although I probably won't be using this in anything I do, I just though it'd be an interesting idea for someone else.

Are there any side thwomps that make the tremor, but not stun mario? For some reason, I cant find it.

EDIT: I mean mikeyk's is not making the sound effect for some reason

I had FG tiles for my level I gave to you and probally will have a FG/BG for the level I am working on right now in map16. Is that gonna cause a problem, do I tell you what page they are on?

Sorry for me being such a burden by the way, I am not that smart.

@AnimeRules: Just go ahead and insert the normal ones, and I'll replace them with my edits that have the sound effect and shake the ground when I insert them into the base ROM.

@Dealth: As long as you put the FG tiles on a page between 4 and C, it won't conflict with anything else. As for the background, it doesn't matter at all where you put the tiles (as long as you don't overwrite the original backgrounds).

Could there be a base IPS distributed with everything inserted? If you have all of the sprites and exgfx inserted, it would be easier to design levels and plan around MAP 16 tiles. :geek:

Is there some special way to send you map16 data? or do we just tell you all the info.

Also I'll be using some of the map16 tiles all around the two turn blocks on the first page shown. I can't say the exact spots right now, I'm on a different computer because it's the weekend. (I can't get on my normal computer for the whole weekend).

I believe you press F2 on the map16 page to copy the data to 2 files, one with the graphics, and one with what the blocks act like.

Heres a small preview of map16 I may or may not need. I'm sure I'm not gonna need everything there, or I'll end up using something else instead of something, or something. Should I move all these blocks (except the two turn blocks that where used in another level) to a blank map16 page? Because I think it'd help if I do that thing that lets me copy the map16 data. O don't know how overwriting and stuff happens with that
