Well for MMJunoremix, this thing just refuses to import. I mostly fixed the "musical interval is too high" problem but it still won't work

I got level12 to play, although it doesn't sound very good

I think I've got an idea for the desert. Hopefully that's another one down.

Not as interesting as I would've liked but I really don't understand deserts.

That's more than good. It sounds very fitting to me, the percussion is rather nice.

Kil, could you post the spc and .txt files of your tracks? I'd like to organize all the overworld music together, since we're almost done.

Actually I've been updating the first post so they were there the whole time

Here they are anyway

download/file.php?mode=view&id=160 (Dusty Desert)
download/file.php?id=154 (Final Adventure)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/ubidw4 (Volcano Area)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/j8ail8 (A thing)

I don't have any .spcs. Is there an easier way to get them other than ripping them out with ZSNES? That's how I used to do it years ago anyway.

Thanks. You should listen to the other songs in this thread! Or not if you want to save the surprises for later

Hey what are those spc's and certificate things? When I download a song from Smwc it comes with some certificate file thing I can't use at all.

.spc files are super nintendo music files, ripped out of the game. You need to have an spc player in order to hear them, they're more like midi files than other audio formats.

the "certificate thing", I assume, are the .mml files or .txt files. THis is the format that addmusic understands. It's basically a list of "instructions" to smw about what instrument to play at what time, and that is what makes the music.

Oh those. A long time ago before I had an spc player, .spc files showed up as these weird "certificate" files to windows. There must be some other type of .spc files for some other program.

Someone in the raocow-thread mentioned that we could/should change the p-block-music as well. This is when I came up with a ridiculous idea: Does anyone remember the gameshow "Jeopardy"? I think the "thinking"-music would be perfect for the p-block!

Just remember that the time the music lasts gets longer if you get hit, get a powerup, or press another P-switch before the first one runs out. In theory, you could make the P-switch music last indefinitely.

My word that's even better than i imagined it, very nice work there, the pauses and background notes work very well with the main melody.
